  1. He isn't that good of a ranger, he can't locate a dead body on the side of a road.
  2. God NO! Makes me sound like a puffer on a porn set.
  3. You sound a bit like Billy Maze reincarnated there. All we need is a little "but if you order now" at the end.
  4. Stunts look good but your gear sucks.
  5. I'm out this weekend for a ride in NC but I bet we could get something together for the 26th or 27th.
  6. Doesn't the rear have a dampener? Changing preload will only stiffen it up not make it less bouncy.
  7. If you're around London the biggest problem is getting enough dirt to build a good jump. Being as flat as it is around here getting soil is hard because no one wants to make a hole in there yard. Unless you make a pond like I did. But my jumps are unimpressive as in my avitar.
  8. I have found that it is next to impossible to get good photos without willing participants and lots of setup time. On a few rides I was able to ride far enough ahead on the bike to stop, whip out the camera and get a few, then stuff the camera in a pocket and catch up. But those rides are few and far between. Being a smoker doesn't help either because each time you stop you wanna light one up, not ride ahead of everyone and set up for the ride by. Maybe we should start a thread to judge interest in a photo day? See who'd wanna have some good shots taken, who'd wanna take some shots and then set up some areas to stop and get cool photos. There are a couple local areas I can think of that are sparsly populated and have a corner or two that we could use between Hillard and Mechanicsberg.
  9. Oldest trick and easy to do is get some tubing, about 1/8 inch id clear rubber works, slid it over the release valve. Make sure it's firmly in place. Use a hose clamp if necessary. Run it up the bike at least 6 inches then loop it down into an empty container. Loosen the release valve enough so it is leaking out but requires pressure to force it through and start pumping the break. The expelled break fluid will slowly fill the container and all air will be expelled from the line. Keep adding fluid and forcing it through till what runs through the hose is clear. Then with preasure on the break close the valve. Fill the resivior and replace the lide of the resivior. Check the break for firmness.
  10. If you havn't had a chance to explore the state I would recommend getting on rt35 and head East. You should find some fun roads past Chillicothe. Might wanna take a GPS with you just in case though.
  11. I put more on one bike last year than all four this year. Being unemployeed really takes the wind out of your sails.
  12. You should be in the helmet cam video someplace. I didn't post up all the photos from the corner after Ranger Rick because in some of them I shot too early and riders were still in the shadows so all you see is a headlight and a grey form. But I didn't have the money shot camera that Hoblick has (drool....). Hey Night Rider I was thinking about the glove thing. I have a pair of yellow and black joe rocket kevlar gloves I never use anymore that you can have if you find yourself in need. I was reading the comments about the gloves and thought about the story I told you about the GI in turkey, who'll wipe your ass?
  13. Anyone wanna buy a crappy helmet cam? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZLBMKucl9k
  14. Crappy rear Video of the car wreck from the ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAF17vn9_B4 Helmet cam video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbwfkB_jbdQ rear camera video still processing but youtube should have it done soon.
  15. Most drivers in the USA are too stupid for no speed limits. Welcome:)
  16. I figured those huge burgers would have given everyone gas
  17. Everyone knows Pandas are actually evil and must be killed!
  18. Talk more in speak like what?
  19. Not to worry, as I remember you helped out Mr. A when he had his accident and good things come around. I'm just glad it all worked out and you are not much worse for wear. Like 1000RR said don't beat yourself up. We all learn every time we go out and then make adjustments to our bikes, equipment, habits and or riding style. Despite the rummers riding a motorcycle is NOT a cheap sport and doing it right requires time and money. Especially if you're riding aggressivly and on challenging roads or trails. I've been lucky and had a lot of good teachers on and off road as well as a good friend who has "edumacated" my dumb ass on some basics of back yard MC repair. So heal up, take some time to check out the real damage on the bike. Drain that oil look for any signs of metal or clutch grindings. That will give you a good idea how bad it is overall. Maybe we can get someone who "really knows engines" to do a tech day that you could bring the bike to if it still has issues. PS rather be Superman than the dead camera man.
  20. Nope I keep the good ones and throw the rest back.
  21. Nice, glad it was a successful ride.
  22. I have a soldering iron we could cross wire those lights so they all work again. Good old back yerd teck! Maybe next time I'll bring the KTM, I didn't seem to be keeping up to well today on the strom.
  23. I'd be the official camera man but I think it's a dead end job. Try to get some video up before I head off to Tour de Pisqua in NC later this week.
  24. Okay, first Night riders arm He's a lucky guy given he had no gloves, steel toes, and jeans that this was the worst visible injury. His leg was stiffening up when I left him and his Dad on rt13. Probably be real sore tomorrow. The bike side shot Front shot after I pulled the offending fender off. Amazing he did as well as he did. The tires were low on air despite being checked in Gahanna and the chain was rock tight. Maybe we need to have some OR tech days for people to maintqain their rides? Some random shots on the side of the road Well, after Ranger Rick let everyone off with a warning the mood must have been glum, probably because everyone heard I was dead on the side of the road, smoking a cigarette and holding a camera.
