  1. like i said before, the answer is 3. jeesh.
  2. the answer is 3 actually, the answer is "hell if I know".
  3. Columbus Appliance and Parts (click) couple of C-Bus locations, don't appear to be open Sundays. Dayco (click) 620 E. Weber Road 614.262.6446 Not open on Sundays... **edit - there used to be a Sears appliance parts store on Morse, between 71 and Karl, north side of Morse, in one of those strip malls near (iirc) the McDonald's. Not sure if it's still there.
  4. One of my GMail accounts was taken over completely - answer to security question changed, sms retrieval # changed, password changed, etc. Tried the recovery options, couldn't answer the questions. I'm pretty sure I know what Pop's middle name was... Have a buddy that works for Google in London, he has a contact on the GMail team, vouched for me that I actually am the owner, so they reset it for me. Took 2 weeks. Here's a link to set up Google 2 factor authentication (click), this way you'll need your password AND a 6 digit code every 30 days (at least, can set it to every time) to get into your mail. <Should> make it much more difficult to get p0wned. Hopefully.
  5. Jr. and I will be at Boston Pizza on Nationwide around 6 (walking over from North Bank, so give or take 5 minutes) to grab some 'za, if anyone's interested.
  6. Pics? Condition: Excellent, pretty good, good, fair, lbts/glws? Original box, fired casing, lock, takedown tool included? Any extra mags/holsters/other goodies? I don't need another Kimber, but the price is certainly right.
  7. This cannot be emphasized enough: The criminal law change changed it from an affirmative defense (you (the homeowner) are guilty until you prove yourself innocent) to a legal presumption against the bad guy. "Castle", as adopted by Ohio in September 2008, also introduced a civil reform which, in layman's terms, states "if you are committing a crime and get hurt, it's your own damn fault". Whether or not you (the bad guy) are charged with a crime, if you get hurt (injured, shot, killed, whatevs) while committing the crime you have no civil cause of action against anyone for the harm you suffered. We've all read/heard about the criminal falling down a chimney, or cutting himself on the window he just broke, and suing the homeowner. No more.
  8. Already have my tickets for both events. Just checked Ticketmaster, seats available for both events as of 0950... I just hope that it's not too racy for a 10 y/o and that they keep their language in check.
  9. Jr. (10 years old) saw an ad for this when we were watching the Supercross season preview, and immediately went into "can we go dad? can we go dad? can we go dad? can we go dad?" mode. We're going... We're going to the Supercross race in Indy next month, also. One of these days I need to get him a little 80 or something. Some day. The egg donor wouldn't be happy, but the paperwork's all signed, so I don't really care. BTW, it's "freestyle MOTOcross" , not autocross.
  10. gone at least 6 months ago. just buy it, ya cheap bastid.
  11. Invite one of her girlfriends over, serve tequila and rohypnol, let the good times ensue... OR, go to the grocery store, pick up things she likes to eat, prepare a really nice dinner for her, serve a good cab (or whatever wine she likes), maybe a quality port for apres dinner. Buying baubles is just too commercial/lacking feeling or thought. Same with a gift card. One of those mushy cards telling her how important she is (assuming she is), how lovely she is, blah blah blah. Chicas like those, allegedly. Or as previously stated (and I was gonna say): PIIHB. Maybe use some lube since it's Valentine's...
  12. Use it whenever I take the 9 out. Comfy, holds the gun securely. Bought a KHolster for the Kimber - leather is thicker than than the CBST, seems as though it will be great once it's broken in. Less expensive and much quicker shipping (1 week v. 4-6 weeks) than the CBST.

    1911-22

For Brian/KK: Article in this month's Guns Magazine about the GSG-1911/22 (click) They liked it, but I've rarely seen any magazine NOT like ANY gun they review. Ad dollars, I guess.
  14. Trombonists do it in 7 positions... /old marching band joke, along with 'low brass do it deeper', 'trumpet players do it with 3 fingers and a tongue', 'red headed oboists from Watterson get real friendly with some Little Kings and the chronic', etc..

    1911-22

No experience with the brand. However, if you're looking for a 1911 chambered in .22LR, I've heard plenty of good stuff about the ATI/GSG 1911: http://www.gsg-waffen.de/site/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=61&Itemid=99〈=en Usually can find the GSG on sale for $299.
  16. selected comments @Fazed: I love stories with a happy ending. "Abdul, check this out. AT&T sent us a Happy New Year mes--" Reach out, reach out and touch someone. "Can you splatter my intestines up to 45' away now?... GOOD!..." I am a CIA operative. I disguised the text as a Happy New Year msg to make it look like an accident. Do the chicks get 37 virgins too? I heard that the 37 virgins thing is true, along with endless glasses of wine. But all the glasses have holes in them and none of the girls do. I guess this time the chick prematurely went off - HA! Premature eradication.
  17. There was a movie made about her, right?
  18. School's hosting the dance, school can make the rules. Don't like it? Don't go. That'll show 'em. Sing along now: "Just the good ol' boys, Never meanin' no harm, Beats all you ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born."
  19. That go through Change Control or did you just file it as a standard or emergency change?
  20. Plenty of 'chat' apps, Google Talk, Yahoo, AIM, et al. None (I think) will have the 'opened' and 'read' features that BBM has. Anything in particular that you need/want it to do, aside from straight-up chat?
  21. Like IP said, you can only thumb the safety on when it's cocked. Mag in, mag out, you <should> be able to cock it. Sear spring on top of sear & disconnector?
  22. The IRS will give you a copy, too (click)
