  1. Maybe swingset was harrasing a dude? Redkow is Perry Mason-in-training, right? Not that I'm volunteering his services, but maybe he could help. OK, so I am volunteering his services.
  2. Since there seems to be a small but extremely avid population of "Zombie Enthusiasts" on this here site, I thought I'd share this with you. Link to Sears' Zombie Shopping site (click) I realize that except for tools and trash compactor bags, there's no real compelling reason to visit a Sears store, unless you want to punish your child with iron-plated jeans (Toughskins, anyone?). As someone on another site said, "That was enjoyable, unlike going into a Sears." BTW, where are the :zombie: smilies?
  3. When I bought the gun it was already installed, per the previous owner. I just now sent him an e-mail asking your same questions. From what I've read, there is little to no "fitting" involved. I've sent boxes of rounds downrange w/o issue. I honestly "feel" a slight difference on the trigger between my XD 9 Service and this pistol - could be the kit, could be the difference between a 9 and a 45, could just be in my head. I'm more accurate with the 45, even though my 9 has a Crimson Trace. The CT seems, to me, to allow for faster target acquisition, but I still line up the dots when shooting.
  4. I considered it, but if I'm going to add to the collection, a .22 to feed my range addiction is what I would add at this point. But, I'm open to a 1911...
  5. Q: How do you re-use a condom? A: Turn it inside out and shake the f*ck out of it... I banged my third grade teacher. Who said home-schooling has no benefits?
  6. Sorry, hadn't checked back as I just kinda threw that out there. Created new FS thread here (click)
  7. *** SOLD *** So I mentioned my .45 in passing in another thread and it seems to have generated some interest. I hadn't planned on selling it, but since you guys seem interested: - XD 45 Service 4" w/thumb safety - Model XD9661HCSP06 - (4) 13 round magazines, S-A (OEM) - Springer Precision trigger kit (polished sear, sear spring, trigger spring, trigger bar) - S-A Essentials (mag holster, crappy speed loader, semi-crappy OWB holster), all as new, never used - Approximately 400 rounds through, exactly 0 FTF/F - Always cleaned/oiled *** UPDATED: (2) 50 count Blazer Aluminum FMJ - (1) 50 count WWB FMJ - (1) 20 count Winchester Supreme Elite Bonded PDX1 JHP New this gun can be found online for $450, on sale for $400. 13 round mags can be found for $25 Ammo above is $20/box So, best case scenario for gun + 2 extra mags is $450 + tax + FFL fee if buying online. Your special ORdN price is $425, FTF only, and that includes "free" bullets! Interested in trade (+ $$ on your part) for a .22 pistol (think Buckmark, Neo, MkIII) Also have a brand-new Crimson Trace for the XD 45 (won't fit any other gun), but due my lack of reading ability it doesn't fit the 45 w/thumb safety. If you take off the right-side thumb safety (where the laser is) it would fit. I haven't felt like breaking out my hacksaw - was going to be a wintertime project. ORdN price $200 - these can be found online for $220 + shipping. ***edit - I'm in the central Ohio area. Saturday I'm free until 5-ish (OSU Hockey game); Sunday all day after 10 (gotta read the paper, drink a pot or two of java)

  12. XD 45 Service, 4", 13+1, w/thumb safety, 4 mags ? Perfect condition, as new, always cleaned & oiled. Gun go bang good...
  13. Channel 79...on Insight.
  14. Darwin failed, this time... Something makes me think he - Darwin - will get another chance. AMA racer on a literbike could have gotten away easily.
  15. I'd say that great minds think alike, but don't want to insult you...!
  16. Dammit! Beat me to another post again! Must take some remedial typing class so's I can go quicker next time...
  17. did you re-use the wires from the motor to the safety sensors, or run new wire? Maybe there's a short in them? If you pull the release handle thingy and run the door up and down by hand, does it go easily or does it bind?
  18. Huh? At least 3 other ORdN folks were there:
  19. Does this thread remind anyone else of good ol' J-Crotch and the threads he used to start? Last I remember he was trying to sell his brother's H-D and fix his Mustang (that DOESN'T have Brembos, which is why he couldn't stop...)
  20. @Scottie.H: If you're not crazy about the RPM you're turning on the highway, you could +1 the front sprocket and/or -1 the rear sprocket, that would lower your engine speed by +/- 500 RPM, give or take, at any given MPH. I've heard, and believe, that "it's more fun to ride a 'slow' bike fast than a 'fast' bike slow". just my $0.022 worth.
