  4. Vance's is open today (Sunday) and Monday - they're usually closed. Also open Christmas Eve. In case anyone's trying to think of what to get for me, I'm still looking for a 1911: Sig Platinum, Colt Combat Elite, STI are in the running...
  5. Different finish and I'd pay a grand for it. I chose 'you'd have to pay me to take it' only because that choice amused me...
  6. Cellist? Nah, you don't wanna see a cellist. Oboists & flutists - <that's> who you wanna see... ...this coming from a former Columbus Symphony Cadet and Youth Orchestra member.
  7. Turn off cable modem. Turn off router. Wait 60 seconds. Turn on cable modem. Wait 60 seconds. Turn on router. Test. If still intermittent, call WOW.
  8. Assuming that DNS server 64.233.222.2 is what you're supposed to be using, it's down (or at least not responding to pings) right now. So, if that's the correct server, call your Internet provider - the problem's on their end.
  9. Handsome dog. Make sure you feed him according to what the dog food bag or your vet says; don't just fill up a bowl of food and let him graze all day. Labs will eat as much food as you put out for them, and can get fat quickly.
  10. "You wanna stop airline hijackings? I tell ya how you stop airline hijackings. You give every damn passenger on the plane a gun. How many hijackings you gonna see then?" Archie Bunker, circa 1975
  11. Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759 US author, diplomat, inventor, physicist, politician, & printer (1706 - 1790)
  12. Tax preparer at H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt? That would keep you as busy as you wanted to be through mid-April. You'd probably have to take their class first, $300 - $400, likely.

  15. Helpful hint: If the item for sale is normally sold in various sizes (clothing, helmets, etc.) telling us what size you have for sale might be helpful...
  16. Mine was a 15 mile trip. Enclosed trailer, ratchet straps, no problemo.
  17. I would highly recommend hiring a piano moving company - they won't bash the piano into your walls (or if they do they pay for it), plus it will be transported properly. It cost me about $150 or so to get a full size concert grand moved from Columbus to Galena. Josh: Shouldn't cost too much to get it tuned. Maybe your little one could learn to play. Besides, you're not going to free up much space. You're willing to deny that sweet girl of yours the gift of music for what, 10 square feet of floor space?
  18. GSX650F at #62. Agreed, poll IS broken...
  19. Valentine, with their arrows and stuff are > Escorts, BUT, speeding's wrong, mmmkay? You young punks won't remember this, but back in the day this was the law of the land:
