For the Meet and greet we have SPECIAL EDITION (lol) glow in the dark kickstand pads we will be handing out just like last time. There will be a stack on the main table and I will probably be walking around with a few in my pocket. So If you need one, come say hi and I can hook you up! Or jsut come say hi anyways, I don't bite. lol
My hubby and I picked up 2 today.
Thanks for saving our bikes from sinking!

Sorry to keep you all in suspense.
before
I haven't had any time to take pics until today at the Meet and Greet.
-
kudos to those wearing your gear!
I went to a party this weekend with a bunch of H-D riders.
Apparently I'm strange since I wear my helmet. Maybe a do-rag is a better idea? I think not.
-
I'm debating getting a vanity plate, but I wouldn't mind a tag so I can match names with screennames with faces
+1 what a great idea!
thnx for the support.
btw, I liked your last avatar better. The one with your bike. Was a cool pic.

My plates don't expire until 8/10. When that happens I have plans for my own 'tag'. Can't have my car being my only over priced expense when it comes to personalized tags. Gotta keep help keep the State of Ohio from completely going bankrupt.
-
Twas a good day!!! in the words of Russel Simmons "Thanks for coming out. God bless you. Goodnight"
+1

Mine already has a "tag".
Yeah.. I saw that earlier!
-
I did have some contacts at the Secretary of State, Jennifer Bruenner's office. They were able to do us a 'solid' and give us a free shout for a RTV radio promo. I wonder if they could hook us up with someone just as gracious and powerful at DOT.
-
We could start a street campaign where we dedicate a few hours of our time to stand on side walks in our helmets and gear to with signs that have statements reflecting motorcycle awareness. Of course not in today's 93 degree heat.. but I still think that's a freebie way to make things happen. Of course other then the materials that go behind making the signs.
Leave it to the Rock the Vote Street Team leader to think of some cheesy grass roots campagin.
Always thinking of the low-dollar way to spread the word. That's what happens when you're a non-profit and got to be creative on a less then shoe-string budget.

Great time, great food, great day to ride and a free t-shirt....it doesn't get mu h better than that. Thanks to all of the organizers, sponsors and Pig Iron staff.
Matt, glad you made it home safely. I hope the rested kiddos weren't too hard on ya! Thanks for the group ride back to the 'Ville! Had fun!

We put stickers on ourselves to show who we are. I was talking to the hubby today as we looked at everyone's bikes and thought it would be cool to have little tags that you hang from the handle bars staying who's bike (USER NAME) belongs to which Ohio Rider user. These tags could be put on the table next to the name tags.
Thoughts?
Now bear in mind I was very dehydrated when this thought came to mind. May of not been my best brainy moment.
I'm now well hydrated. *tips back a well deserved brewskie*
Whatchya think about the tag on the handle bike-username-name-on-the-handle-bar-grip idea?

got it! Looks great! Awesome idea! Nice meeting you today.

here's a few shots
Ya did good Chris!

broken link?
ok.. now its fixed. thnx!

A nice radio spot reminding motorists to be aware of bikers. Or erect some signs near bad intersections.

+1 good for you man! Awesome that you let him have it! Just because your old doesn't give you an excuse to be careless.

Yesterday our neighbors dad relocated my tail lights on my Aero for free.
-
second thought.. we may not be there. I just finished mowing my darn yard. Starving. Oh, and the weather forecast says rain will be in Marysville in about an hour. Soooooo... guess not.
-
Jim and I will now be attending. We won't be staying a long time though. I'm guessing we can be there by 7 and probably won't stay past 8:30 at latest. We need to spend time with some friends in town for the party down the street.
-
I'll be there now. We're no longer going to Mid-Ohio. I may have a hangover though. Huge party on Saturday.
-
They have been officially relocated! Looks good! Why in the world Honda didn't put them down there in the first place I'll never know. Official cost? Materials. No cost for labor.
-
If someone is dumb enough to turn one of those cars in... I say let them.
The owners of the ones that are left will appreciate it. Their cars just became collectibles.
+1 agreed!!!
-
I MIGHT be there. As of current my bike is up the street at my neighbors house getting the turn signals relocated on it so that I can put on my saddlebags.
I'm sort of wondering if I should just hang with them tonight and party it up to say thanks for doing this for me.
There is a party going on up the street that goes through Saturday if you're interested! My neighbors call it Shimmy Fest.
Bikes welcome! (They drive HD's) Bring a tent or be prepared to crash anywhere on the floor inside my house. Lots of people staying over at my place Saturday night.
Just saw this atricle about us.
