  1. Yeahhhh.. thanks for the support. I guess I thought maybe people have to start somewhere and the fact that this is called Ohio Riders may be a supportive group for those interested in riding or just starting off. Wonder why I got that impression.

Maybe I should babble on about politics, Michael Jackson, or squids? Makes much more sense.

    ;)

  2. I did my first SHORT ride on 33 East toward Dublin last night about 8:00pm.

Just from Rt 42 down to Avery Murfield and back.. but HEY it's a start. Oh, and it was windy as h-e-double hockey sticks!

The other day we went for a 3 hour tour of covered bridges in Union County.

    I'm getting my time in.

Honestly--- my only big issues right now are trying not to stall her when I'm starting out from a stop. Almost got that down.. AND trying to park my bike closer at bike night events. I've not perfected the slow and tight maneuvers just yet.

Bike nights attended: All Marysville.. but 2 now. :p

  3. theres no good roads to ride up there is there???? remember im out here in coshocton county where the real roads are :)

HEY NOW! Union County and where it meets Delaware has some nice roads. :) Don't be thinking your the king of all roads out there! lol

  4. get a tank bib instead of paint, dual purpose, protects the tank from things like belt buckles and zippers and some even have pouches that you can throw a cell phone or I-pod in... just a suggestion... windshield is a definite if you wanna do any distance traveling I got a memphis shades gradiant black , looks sweet and keeps the wind off you. light bars can be expensive, so I went a different route, fog lights under my floor boards... gets me noticed and throws out good light for night riding... and another mod for distance comfort, Highway bars and pegs.... worth the investment!! Cruisers rule!

Love your suggestions! Thanks! I am interested to see your floor board fog lights. :)

  5. My baby is on her way to being solo cruiser. With the help of my hubby the bitch seat was removed and while she's in my possession she will never know what 2-up is like. :)

I uncovered her beautiful back fender and will eventually (ordered today) have a chrome solo rider rear carrier as well as a saddlemen trunk.

    As for the other ramblings--

I AM LOVING RIDING!!! I'm starting to feel like I'm becoming more of 'one' with my bike so to speak.

We've went out for a ride just about every day this week. Leaning into my curves more. Doing 65mph without issue. (Wind is pretty rough at times.. but oh well.)

    FRIGGN' AMAZING!!

    :cruiser:

ps-- I think in the future a thick black stripe will be painted down the center of my front fender.. to the tank.. to the rear fender.

Also a light bar and probably a windshield.

    I believe I'm in love! lol:leghump:

  6. 2 bikes (06 Honda VTX 1300 and a 05 Shadow Aero 750) $400 even insured for 12 months.

    Through Progressive.

Own a house. Good credit rating (since that somehow matters these days). Paid the policy in full. Otherwise it would of been like $30-something more I think it was.

I just got this insurance 6/10 so the rates are pretty fresh.
