  1. Well since you don't want to include what ignition parts you're using. Does the rotor turn when you crank the engine? Does the tach move? Do yuo get spark out of the coil? I'm going to assume that since you haven't said whether its an HEI, aftermarket with external coil, using an ignition box or not, or if it just some old stock shit. I can't understand how you expect any good info to come of your thread when you won't tell us about what you're working on.

     

    that's generally my complaint too on any forum with people looking for advice....they don't usually give you enough info to help you help them

  2. those had problems with the oil pump bolts backing out.

     

    no...the straight sixes did

    I addressed that within 3 months of ownership of my M3

    loctited and threads punched...mine was factory tight actually...it s a crapshoot

     

    the M60 and M62 V8s don't seem to have this Oil Pump Nut concern ;)
