  1. as much as I would like to go. I just won a free track event at Autobahn Country Club with NASA Midwest in a raffle this past weekend for use on sept17-18..it s non transferrable to other people, non-usable at other events so I have to use it (and want to)

i don t feel like doing consecutive weekend events :D

sorry guys....maybe Nelson for me :D

  2. man, i was thnking about this last night before i went to bed and i cant believe i wont be able to see it in a theater

wanna daytrip to Detroit with me? :)

f seeing it on the big screen, I just want to see it period. Not a Netflix member so I missed the download, and as far as I understand the only copies on DVD that you can still currently find have regional coding on them and won't work unless you've got a means to hack the code with your player.

I'd watch it on my phone if I could just get my hands on a working copy.

i have a great quality on my computer but like I said, I want to see it on a big screen out of respect for the best F1 driver ever (well...maybe Fangio was better)

  3. Picked up the audi at what I feel was a carzy low price. New windshield in the morning and do the best cleaning job I can. I know when I show it to him on saturday he wont like it but if he gets a job I will help him get something in a few months. These things sit awful high, how hard is it to put some new springs on it?

    what year and what kind of A4 (2.8 V6? 3.0 V6? 1.8T? 2.0T?)

I m thinking it s a B5 A4....it s not hard to do..there's the possibility you'll need XYZ bits (aka Triple Square) . I have a set if you wanna borrow but I think NAPA may have them

  4. On the Audi, the guy is keeping the spare rims and dropping the price down to an amount I cant pass. Going to buy it right now. Looks like my son will be getting my suv.

    interesting turn of events

now hav him do a proper driving school. godspeed, sir!

  5. I have been negotiating with this guy for 2 weeks and hes not coming off that price. I am a decent negotiator and have pullede out all my cards. I got him to come down $1200 already but its hard to negotiate when a guy comes down to what he has in it and thats as low as he will go.

I dont know if the automatic/stick thing is that big a deal. In all reality he wont be leaving reynoldsburg in it in a good while. Hes really not into the whole car thing much so he wont know the difference until someone who is, points it out. Same goes for it being a v6.

I have been a parent for a long time, I dont see giving a kid, male or female, a auto/stick as being a good/bad parenting decision.

I see no problem with your point of view and don t let anyone tell you otherwise here

winter is fast approaching though...do you want him out there on non-winter rubber?

  6. make your kid pay the extra 200...in the grand scheme of things, would you really want to let the car go because it s 200 over your budget?

also, does it HAVE to be a mustang? if so, you'll be spending some extra cash on winter tires anyway if you like your kid

  7. I-71 Reopens After Fatal Crash

COLUMBUS -- A motorcycle rider is dead Tuesday afternoon after a violent crash with another vehicle along Interstate 71, near the Greenlawn Avenue. Blocked lanes of I-71 northbound only just started to open about 5 p.m.

    ------------------

The identity of the rider had not been released. The woman driving a four-door white compact car was not seriously injured in the crash, but did appear visibly shaken up by the incident, ABC6/Fox28 News’ A.J. Ross reports.

According to Sgt. Rich Wiener, of the Columbus Division of Police, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on I-71 when the bike struck debris on the road. The driver braked and swerved trying to retain control, causing the vehicle behind it to do much the same.

But, the vehicle was not able to stop in time and struck the motorcycle. About half of the back end of the bike could be seen wedged under the front of the white car.

All lanes of I-71 north were closed between I-270 on the south side and the I-70/71-split due to an accident. The entrance ramps from I-270 east and west, SR 104 and Greenlawn Ave. to I-71 north were also closed.

There was no final word on whether charges would be filed. Ross reports that the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet.

  8. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/265455/Bear-s-eating-me-girl-told-mum-in-call

A DISTRAUGHT mother listened on a mobile phone as her teenage daughter was eaten alive by a brown bear and its three cubs.

Olga Moskalyova, 19, gave an horrific hour-long running commentary on her own death in three separate calls as the wild animals killed her.

She screamed: “Mum, the bear is eating me! Mum, it’s such agony. Mum, help!’”

Her mother Tatiana said that at first thought she was joking. “But then I heard the real horror and pain in Olga’s voice, and the sounds of a bear growling and chewing.”

She added: “I could have died then and there from shock.”

Unknown to Tatiana, the bear had already killed her husband Igor Tsyganenkov – Olga’s stepfather – by overpowering him, breaking his neck and smashing his skull. Olga, a trainee psychologist, saw the *attack on her stepfather in tall grass and reeds by a river in Russia and fled for 70 yards before the mother bear grabbed her leg.

As the creature toyed with her, she managed to call Tatiana several times during the prolonged attack. Tatiana rang her husband – not knowing he was *already dead – but got no answer.

    ì

Mum, the bear is eating me! Mum, it’s such agony. Mum, help!

    î

    Olga

She alerted the police and relatives in the village of Termalniy, near Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy, in the extreme east of Siberia.

She begged them to rush to the river where the pair had gone to retrieve a fishing rod that Igor had left.

In a second call, a weak Olga gasped: “Mum, the bears are back. She came back and brought her three babies. They’re... eating me”.

Finally, in her last call – almost an hour after the first – Olga sensed she was on the verge of death.

With the bears having apparently left her to die, she said: “Mum, it’s not hurting anymore. I don’t feel the pain. Forgive me for everything, I love you so much.”

The call cut off and that was the last Tatiana heard from her *daughter. Half an hour later, Igor’s brother Andrei arrived with police to find the mother bear still devouring his body. Badly mauled Olga was also dead.

Six hunters were sent in by the emergency services to kill the mother bear and her three cubs.

The double killing is the latest in a spate of bear attacks across *Russia, as the hungry animals seek food in areas where people have *encroached and settled on their former habitat.

A weeping Tatiana said that Olga had everything to look forward to, and was happy with her life and boyfriend Stepan.

“My daughter was such fun. She was so cheerful, friendly, and warm,” said Tatiana.

“She had graduated from music school, and just days before the bear attack she got her driving *licence.”

Her husband and daughter are due to be buried today.

if bears team up with sharks, we're all doomed

    meanwhile, in Russia
