wow....I fell onto this youtube channel and I'm seriously impressed with this one
Those who fight (battle theme)
One Winged Angel (Sephiroth Theme)
Aerith's theme

If I was about to be shot I would certainly try
true...I know I would want to try but I'm not sure I'd have the balls to
I would not have even thought about "I wonder if he's wearing a vest?" I would just be taking cover and returning fire.LOL..yea..right

It was in one of these Gatebill articles, don't remember which one. This one mentions that it's 2JZ powered though; it's compared to an S50 Turbo motor in another article, I believe that's where I saw the power figure. http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/07/gatebil-rudskogen-event-review/
pretty cool, thanks a ton

Drag ratakes fewer turns than NASCAR. lol
But seriously, I don't prefer one over the other. I'm not building a track car or a drag queen, so whatever. Just comes down to personal preference. CR was founded on drag racing. Of course the majority here would find drifting boring. Hell, for years there was like 1 autocrosser on the site. Now I see more talk of it.
truth...there's multiple types of racing....Drifting is not racing
for there to be racing, there needs to be timing for scoring...not subjectives whims from judges.....
I consider Golf a sport because there's a score set on quantified skill metrics (number of strokes) but gymnastics is not a sport, drifting, no, synchronized swimming no...Those are merely games

interesting.....Is Aurora full of hippies? And anyway, it would make no difference I'm sure even if Aurora had gun laws same as the rest of the state
let's be honest though, what civilian would carry a gun to a movie theater that would be able to stand up the the guns the shooter had AND be able to counter all the armor the guy had?
exactly, none and the point's been made ITT by sol740
Hate to say it but dude was wearing a vest, helmet/gasmask, and had a rifle, even armed I'm taking my family, my peashooter, and running. Maybe try to get a shot off if clear, but that sounds like a losing situation. -
LOL James Hunt

pretty much
All around a pretty bad situation. I heard on NPR last night that he had obtained his guns legally in the few months prior, which means something happened to him all of a sudden to go bonkers but still manage to fly under the radar of background checks from the government.
Sad but true, the system isn't always perfect but it's not worth banning guns over such rare events

That 2002 has 1000+rwhp according to a SpeedHunters article on Gatebill this past weekend. The E34 must spin the tires with absolute ease with that massive motor, now!
got a link to the article?

Thanks for the tip, that doesn't surprise me at all. The tech may be a little out of date, but they are going to be a lot of fun.
no doubt!
especially the wheels are a concern, because the hot pad dust will settle, burn into the wheels' clearcoat, effectively etching them and ruining their appearance if left sitting
such is life with the 9012
-
Scott,
If you halfway like your paint, I STRONGLY advise you bring a bottle of windex and wipe your paint and wheels clean every session
the 9012 are metallic and have quite the stigma of harming paint if the dust settles on there for more than 24hrs.
that said, the Hawk Blues are still pretty good pads but their tech is a bit out of date compared to the DTC series

Mid Ohio in a car is so different from on a bike, at least for me. I have not been on there with a bike before. Track has you working the whole time. Referencing and getting a read on breaking and elevation. Was a good time for sure. Didn't wreck, but was taking it very easy.
what were you breaking?
-
In May, I took a friend who is a sportbike track time instructor for a ride around Mid O in my car. He's a pro on bike but had never been in a car around there.
He was very surprised how much curb I was using and told bikes could never take such lines. He loved it. He's got a Ducati 749s

depending on how moving into my new place goes, I'll make it up I hope
can I sign up on site, Shawn?
I saw your video and just to be fair, your lines in a couple of places need cleaning up (t4 and carousel) but overall not shabby
-
Lol why make a car so nice and leave that ugly, dirty, unpolished stock intake manifold on it :lolguy:
I find it wicked cool that all the way in Estonia they are using American radiators (that's a Griffin there)
