a coworker built this with a HPD ALMS LMP2 engine.... It's good to have contacts at HPD sometimes. it's a turbo V8 and yes those mirrors are from a CBR1000RR......

now imagine trying to get a race like this off the ground from scratch these days in our litigious society, even on the Isle of Man which is an autonomous subject of the Queen...Manx people are generally supportive but they grew up with it and it's a part of their culture
