Mensan.....the cop moved his foot the 2nd time at 00:24 i m sure because he was getting stepped on............his foot was ALREADY in the way at 00:14 when the car started moving at 00:17

it's not a trivial affair and it is important sure but the fact of the matter is that the guy was ordered to stop after he initially got on the cop's foot and kept going

Correct, and when it was parked the cop wasn't in front of it, so he was SAFE. When the car starts moving, and cop gets in front of it, it is no longer PARKED, it is MOVING. He steps in front of a MOVING car.

from what I can tell in the video you are wrong

the guy gets in the car and starts the car

the cop steps in front of the car

the car then starts moving AFTER the cop has put himself in front

that's the order I see/hear

Regardless of what it was for or who was in the wrong, the officer told him to stop, he did not, no hell pay the price.its simple...follow officers directions unless it puts you in immediate danger.

exactly...and you can hear the cop telling him and then yelling once his foot gets driven on and then hitting the car

Cop is writing ticket

driver comes out and sees cop writing ticket and gets into car

Cop blocks car

Guy drives over cop's foot, injuring the cop

Cops arrest guy (probably for police brutality)

the car was parked legally so there's 2 things that warrant this ticket far as I can tell

1) NY requires a front plate and this ferrari is tagged in NY (see end of video for back plate)

2) no registration sticker in front windshield

I think the cop had every right to act as he did...

Yeah the corvette and the viper had completely different exhaust tones than all the other cars racing. So you could always tell when they were coming.

the BMW V8, the Ferrari V8 and the Corvette all sound COMPLETELY different from one another

Hmm, how much of a pain in the ass is it to sign up for non SCCA members?

 

Will a NASA comp license allow me in the advanced group or do I have to go through a bunch of SCCA crap?

 

How many cars in the run groups?

 

I'm not hating on the SCCA, but I've never heard anything good about their structure and moronic rules and don't want to be hassled or forced to run in the novice group just because I have not attending one of their events yet.
