  1. [MAP][/MAP] Will do, anytime after 4 is good for me.
  2. gota love the midnight rides especially down to tanks!
  3. I'm going to have to pass monday. Tuesday may work. I have a small lawn care business, and I have to mow on monday evening, this rain yesterday screwed me up. Sorry guys.
  4. glad your okay! Gear makes all the difference!
  5. i can ride on the 13th after 4.
  6. ALSO, not all f4i's had the split seat. Check out an 06.
  7. My fiance' and I put the flags on the grave sites at that cemetery for memorial day, for the VFW. That whole area is great!
  8. I know my triumph does crazy things with the wrong fuel map. Is this possibly and issue on the CBR's?
  9. Bump for an amazing bike. I have ridden with RSVdon many times, and i lust a big twin everytime!
  10. thats all in about a 10-15 mile radius from me. thems my stompin grounds! Martindale isnt flooded at the moment, but its not clean. Horsehore bend was pretty good as of last week, and sugar grove has a huge amount of bridge jumpers at the moment, so take it easy around the bridge. The falknor wall is def very cool!
  11. very very impressive! BOA was a nightmare to deal with for us!
  12. U.P is exactly right. I went on the coshocton ride last year, and ride a bigger bike, but I was still at the very back of the slow group and still had a blast. I didn't speed, and never got separated.I got passed a few times, by some guy running, but regardless, it was fun. Keep yourself in your comfort zone. Theres nothing wrong with wanting to be a better rider, but just because someone is faster, doesn't mean they are a better rider. Your whole riding scenario made me think of the "twist of the wrist II" movie.
  13. Van, If you ride that route dustin posted before we ride, be very very careful on rudy road. They freshly durapatched ( tar with gravel sprayed on top of it) huge sections of it. Its probably not going to be able to be ridden at any amount of speed more than what you would ride down a dirt/gravel road at.
  14. Van, I am back in town. we can do some riding! I've ridden about 600 miles in the last week, and the road conditions aren't real good. So if you venture out be careful. The farmers have been late getting in the fields, along with lots of flooding, and gravel.
  15. " How do you ride that crotch rocket thing for long rides?" "Triumph still makes motorcycles?" "Is that bike brand new?" and the winner of them all..... This happend shortly after i started riding. random guy in the bank-"How long have you been riding"? me- "about 6 months" Random guy- " I knew it hadn't been long, you still have your helmet with you"
  16. the triumphs going to get the medium size one in the very near future
  17. recon, i remember those being on sale, and wishing I would have bought one. Thats the exactly the box i was looking for. thanks!
  18. No Don, i prefer the KY warming:lol:. but anywho! Its not swamp ass, that seat is mega slick. You constantly fight with holding on to the tank with your knees, and consistently slide back and fourth every time you hit the brakes/accelerate.
  19. I have started looking at top boxes for the sprint. I don't want anything big. I found a really nice water proof lexan box I was tempted to buy and drill the holes in to mount to my luggage rack. The only issue with this box is that its clear. What do you use/have used as a top box?
  20. Van, one of these days, i will certainly show you the "good routes" just as dustin showed me back when I first started riding. a lot of the pavement is in terrible shape after this winters bad ice storms, but everything still ridable, just at a much slower pace.
  21. troy area, has some "ok" riding. I have about a 100 mile route(goes up around sidney and over toward new carlise, and tipp city), but this year, so far alot of the asphalt has gone to crap.
  22. I recently purchased a corbin seat from a fellow on the triumph forum, and boy is it ever slick! I've wiped it down with rubbing alcohol, and had no such luck!. We rode today with it, and I took some tool box liner and wrapped the passenger seat with that, but it looks bad(but very functional). Does anyone have any suggestions?
