nice! Granda080 and I were cruising on 70 tonight and got passed by a blue mustang convertible doing 115-120 with the top down and four guys hanging out of it , waving to us like they wanted us to take chase!

you can also unplug the fan, make up some jumpers to hook it directly to the battery to see if it even comes on.

A good friend of mine purchased one a few months back, with 28k on the clock. He's since made multiple trips to the dragon in the car, along with venturing into south carolina quite a bit. He loves it thus far. But I will say, it is british, and it will probably have a few quirks here and there, but nothing to drive yourself crazy over.

well perhaps I may look at an fz6 then( the fz1 insurance is a killer it seems) unless I can find a z1000. Hell I may keep the triumph. I keep going back and fourth between a naked and the sprint.

I did maybe three two up rides all last season. So those are far and few in between.

I get about 200-220 to a tank now. Thats something I hadn't considered is fuel tank size.

I even debated an fz6, but after having the power of the 955, i think I would miss the 955, going back to a 600.

I've sat on a few but never ridden one. The ergos seem alittle better than the sprint for the long rides, which is what im shooting for.

What year did they switch to fuel injection? I am really thinking about trading my sprint for one.

I have been looking at a few yamaha fz1's. 2002's to be exact. Some things I have read say fuel injected, others have said carbed. Does anyone have one, that can give me any first hand info on these bikes?
