  1. I'm looking at florida for our honeymoon in october. I've only been to St. Pete once. Does anyone have any recommendations ?
  2. Nice looking ride. Sorry to hear its not working out like you hoped. I'd recomend an fz1. Comfy and sporty.
  3. Anything can be done with enough money !!
  4. Wild. Maybe they picked them up at a garage sale ?
  5. The old baked bland Easter ham will never be the same. This thing was awesome.
  6. finished pics of said ham.. its still resting. I will let you guys know how it was later on.
  7. *poke poke* ol covtuckey eh? I went to the end zone bar last weekend in covtuckey, and let me tell you what.. it didn't get the name covtuckey for nothing!
  8. Brian, heres the thermometer I use. I liked this one better than most because the wire wasn't similar to that of a pair of headphones but actually steel braided covering. It was also very inexpensive and seems to work great. I can even take it inside with me, and not even have to go back out to manually check the temp.
  9. the smoker is 23x14. My only complaint is that its not very deep. I'm guessing you could get 50-60 lbs if you played your cards right, depending on the cuts you do together.
  10. I love my masterbuilt propane. As long as its not real windy, I can set it at 225 and literally set it and forget it. While I use a remote thermometer to measure the meat temp, I also use a digital thermometer to monitor the temp of the smoker. When I smoked my ribs, I literally had to change the temp one time, in 4.5 hours.
  11. that sounds delicious! I think I am going to have to go visit the butcher man!
  12. smoking is addictive! What can I say! Nothing better than firing up the smoker and doing yard work.
  13. I decided I wanted to smoke a ham. I know most hams come precooked, so I decided to google to see if it was common practice to stick one in the smoker. To my delight, it can be done! So I picked up a nice small 2 lb cumberland gap ham( just my fiance and myself). I decided I wanted to put a rub on it and attempt to get a bark on my ham. So I used the following things. Pure Maple syrup Cayenne pepper Honey Dijon mustard brown sugar garlic powder smoke house maple seasoning. I scored the ham very lightly and rubbed it down with maple syrup, and then mixed the mustard, cayenne, brown sugar, garlic powder, and smokehouse maple into a paste, and rubbed it into the ham. my game plan with this is to mix up some water and apple cider vinegar and use apple wood, at about 225 degrees. Any suggestions?
  14. I agree with Kawi, its certainly not a situation to play hero. Upon reading the article I, my first response was if only someone would have been carrying. After I pondered it for a bit, to take a shot in a dark movie theater while suffering exposure to tear gas( those whom have never been exposed can say what they want). I personally don't feel I would have been able to even take a shot out of fear of getting an innocent by stander.
  15. I maybe looking for a 10 inch sub and amp. Anyone have anything cheap?
  16. Price is right. If its as nice as it looks, I would be comfortable paying that. If you get the bike. I highly recomend a Corbin seat.
  17. A run of rs's did have sssa due to a fire in 2000 or 2001, that burned the factory to the ground. I don't remember the vin range for the bikes though.
  18. Sounds good to me! I have been researching making my own bacon.
  19. Fickle. Lots of quirks but I loved mine, but I don't miss it. Fuel injection was quirky, rear wheel bearing needed greased regularly and the sprag clutchs are known to fail, which is costly. The engine was redesigned in 02, as pre 02 had issues with the alternator bearing was going out sending shrapnel into your transmission. The front brake pistons needed cleaned regularly due to dust sticking to them. You can swap the Dayton 675 pistons in to stop this. I could go on and on. Pm me if you'd like. They have tons of personality and are fun bikes.
  20. I have! I'm also on a bbq forum called bbq-brethren.com
