  1. I don't know what size you need but I have a bunch of gear I need to sort thru and sell. I dropped a bunch of weight to make a run at the OMRL and MotoSeries events. I got rid of one of my suits already but I have more and lots of street gear too.Icon riding pants and jeans, jackets etc.

  2. Gear resells easy on eBay and CL. Stay in gear that fits. When it doesn't, sell and buy new. If continued loss is your plan buy used until you hit your goal weight then reward yourself with new gear. The WERA board is a good place for used gear too. Many of the track guys sell their used gear there. If you have full unrestricted range of motion while standing straight, it's too loose.

  3. Your gear should be snug. It's there to protect in a slide and can slide off or up if too loose. It's also there to keep your limbs close to core so you don't flail like a chicken when you are tumbling which breaks arms and legs, snug gear helps keep your arms and legs close to the body so you roll instead of flail.

  4. ^^LOL.

I guess I dont understand the thought-process behind buying one of the most tractable and best-handling 2-wheeled machines to ever roll off a production line, then turn around and start neutering features integral to said scalpel-like handling.

  5. It's way more expensive than $123.

Whenever you lower a bike it's required that you buy a flat bill hat to wear backwards, a designer tank top, white flip flops, white oakleys, a white watch and white book bag to ride with. All that stuff is expensive! LED light kits are optional, but strongly encouraged.

  6. I dont wave because Im a dick like that and think its gay :)

I always wave.  Half the time I don't get waves in return from cruisers with no gear on, but I just tell myself that if you're on a bike, and someone waves at you, and you don't wave back... then you're just a dick, plain and simple.

    I'm that guy.

  7. ?????

5'9" and you want to lower a 600 because you can't touch, what?

I'm a fucking Midget and have a 1000, 600, and Supermoto. At factory height.

You need to focus on skills and technic, nobody at 5'9" should have to lower a bike

  8. There wasn't a crash, something happened with his bike and leaked oil all over the track. It was some dude on a sumo. Happened right where I was watching. Took forever to get cleaned up. Watching the ama guys come through there on the warmup laps was scary.

^^^This. I'd heard rumor of a crash too, but it was just that....rumor. I'm sure the pros were pissed about the delay and track conditions after that. Parade laps should be done at the end of the day so there is a lot more time to address any issues like that without interference with the racing schedule.

Um. Beg to differ since Im the one that treated him and took to the hospital. ;)
