  1. I can fit your bike on my trailer if you want to sign up anyway and travel together.  I'm thrilled to have won (baby girl is almost 6 months, and is more expensive than track days ever were!), but I have no idea where I'll end up riding.  Grattan or Putnam, probably.

STT rocks for doing this.  I haven't been on a big track in well over a year, and haven't ridden with STT in maybe three years.  Curious to see who I recognize on the staff :D

If you do Putnam let me know and I'll likely join you
  2. I just decided today to go sat to watch the racing. I have a few noob question since ive never been there for a race. Can I buy tickets at the gate. I will be in a car and Im bring my kids with me. Can I bring a cooler and do most people bring fold up chairs to sit. If anyone can relate I didnt know if it was like the torq race at redbud where everyone just sits in the grass.

    Yes to all

  3. if you can't make it, you should rent out your XR to someone who can.   I'm going to attempt to chase some :56's if the weather's decent, but I'm also playing with different gearing, so that's my excuse if I ride like ass :p

I'd be too scared to rent it out being 2nd in the points and next round right around the corner lol. Can't chance something going wrong.

  4. Yes.  I wasn't going to phrase it like that though lol.

But yes it was a senseless crash from a bike that had no business on the track. He was an experienced rider, just no track exp and made a poor choice and on a bike that shouldn't been on a track to begin with. Set the day back 1:15 and in turn put AMA, Media, Teams, Staff ect in a huge bind. This years will reflect that lesson learned with a slow controlled pace.

  5. ya poor life choices because I listen to a certain type of music...  Atleast I'm not a discriminating asshole....

 I wasn't referring to the music choice defensive dipshit. I was referring to labeling yourself for life with a tattoo of a band that you'll lose interest in and yet be stuck with on your skin. = poor life choice.

Tattoos should have a deeper meaning as they are part of your body for life, not a dumb ass clown with a hatchet that's linked to two grown ass men that walk around in makeup and have followers that for the most part are addicts, junkies and delinquent gypsies.

So if that makes me a discriminating asshole for pointing out that poor life choice, well go me!

  6. No, I leave it in the garage. The way rig it up Bowdog mentioned is fine if you only intend to run 110 and limited stuff. A hard wired plug for the genny lets you run 220 and the entire house. Costs about $30-40 in parts and an hour tops in labor. I work for pasta.
