  1. I believe either last year or two years ago we were a mile from going to jail. Or atleast I was since I was last when you decided to take off

 forgot a out that. That was one of only 2 times I've rode to DTM. both ended much the same. This is why I trailer

I work sunday :-( i just saw u sell guns and accessories....im a cop i have a 1911 - can u get deals on some crimson trace laser grips?? :p

Yes. Shop is at Walcutt and Scioto Darby, ill be there all day Thurs

  2. I preach that at the beginning of every ride Tim and I do. There's always someone that doesn't listen. We always give the your own pace and we'll wait at the next intersection speech. Someone always tries to keep up and goes down. You won't change that by this thread either. Someone always wants to prove something.

That being said, UP is one of my favorite to ride with and I do push my limits with him as I have faith he won't over cook a corner and I follow his his line. One of the few here I will put blind faith in.

  3. Assuming hes got the same pistol that he posted in his pictures hes got a Hi point C9

I have one too believe it or not. It's never given me trouble but I wouldnt bet my life on it. It's my garage gun, stays in the garage tool box as a just in case last resort kind of thing. I have no problems with it but I'd never carry it. It's a gun I gave 50 for to leave in the garage and won't be out much if it gets stolen

  4. Checked my G19 firing pin. Looks like the day I bought it. Not a ton of rounds through it, but never a hiccup, regardless of ammo brand or anything else.

Will keep an eye on the pin.

And it will continue to look that way.

The problem with "most" cop guns is neglect. Most cops shot very little, some only at their yearly qualification. Many cops clean and oil their gun less than they shoot it. The gun is out in the elements daily rain, snow, humidity and often cleaned maybe yearly. When it's not in the elements it's often left in their duty belt thrown in the trunk or in their locker in a humid locker room. Duty weapons are often neglected, it's a company supplied tool to many cops. Not all but many. This issue is the same with MP, Sig, Barretta, FN all the common dept issued duty weapons.

  5. shoot, I'd like to have a 522 classic (22lr).... dunno now

Adam only lives 15 mins from me Tom. I'm sure we could arrange a hand off and I could bring it with me to the shop Thursday for you to pick up after work. ;)

  6. Maybe because their an overpriced paperweight....:D

The Glock price is right in line, and in many cases lower, with every other "quality" handgun on the market.

If the need arises to draw your weapon you're betting your life on it to work. I'm confident in my G19 in that moment. Can you say the same about yours or did you just get what you could afford and hope for the best?

  7. ^^This applies to me. I can't tell any performance differences between stock Jap 600's which is why I go for looks.

I didn't mean all performance. Ergos, Reliability, Features, dealer support, maintain costs ect. Looks should be last unless your just in it for the looks and not the sport.

  8. Performance is the least important factor. Unless you're Valentino Rossi. $100 says if you couldn't see or hear the bike, you'd never be able to tell the difference within Jap supersport classes.

Just remember this when you put that fender eliminator, smoked windscreen, flush mount turn signals, and aftermarket exhaust on for the "performance" gains ;-)

Get the 100 ready for me because I can. I'm short, very easy to tell difference.

As for the other stuff, fender eliminator I made myself to make plate hard to read and so the traffic cams in Newark couldn't see it. Function, not looks

Smoked screen because the oem one broke in my first crash, it was in stock. Convenient

Flush mounts, again oem broke in first crash. Flush, doesn't need taped on track day. Function and laziness

Aftermarket exhaust is a full titanium system with intake and pcIII and dyno tune. Performance, Function, Weight savings to make up for my fat ass ;)

  9. On a lighter note, we have talked about you several times man. The Medic that treated you is here today too remembers your crash in detail. He still talks about you telling him exactly what meds you wanted because you'd had the fx before.
