  1. I hadn't been to a store in about 3 mos because when I last went it was all sold out so I figured someone like yoruself could tell me where it's back in.

    Mission accomplished lol.

Walmart gets a truck in every night, just got to stop each morning thats what I do

  2. Good looking out guys, I was wondering how Ammo would be regulated there and if they even had good prices.

I need some bulk 9mm ASAP, if anyone is making a trip anywhere or sees a bulk buy please post up.

Gander Gun World has plenty of 9mm, 10 box limit I believe. Walmart usually has 9 too, 3 box limit but they have 100rnd bulk packs. Several places have 9mm if you can't find it you're not trying very hard

  3. Several of us went Tues for a private event. Spoiler, not worth waiting in line it's nowhere near the caliber of the WV or MI stores and ammo is about as slim picking as Walmart and they have the same 3 box limit. I won't be back, I'll drive to Wheeling if I want Cabelas.

  4. Lol you did more than I would've, even if I was on duty and on the squad that picked her up so yea, you did fine.

Ankles, I usually just take em in to ER nothing we do on the squad will change the outcome and ER generally likes to see position and swelling for their assessment so I don't bother and field interventions such as cold packs ect won't do much if anything for pain. So watch for shock and talk to them is really all Ill do. If its obvious they'll go straight to surgery I'll start an IV which you couldn't have done anyway. So yea you did it it right and overachieved. Talk to them and watch for shock. I rarely worry about calling my patients by name unless they are hysterical or combative.

The FD shirt guy, we call them squirrels. He probably got it for helping a volunteer dept with a fund raiser and now wears it everywhere to feel special or try for discounts. I've probably got 20 shirts from the FD with my name, number, rank on them so you can tell they are legit and how often have you seen me wear them? I wear my pullover occasionally because its warm that's about it. If I'm not on duty I rarely wear the clothing because I don't need the shirt to make me fel good, I know what I've accomplished so I don't need the shirt. Most that wear them are not active members or much less certified. The ones that are don't show it because we get asked to look at baby's BooBoo or listen to Grammys cough ect everywhere we go and it gets old.

    You did fine

  5. Personally I would not make Mid Ohio your first track. Do Putnam Park first. Mid Ohio is not an ideal first track. At Putnan pay very close to attention to the meeting and the warnings about turn 5,6,7 in the first sessions as the morning dew takes a bit to dry off. You'll find out the hard way if you don't listen. Putnam is a great track and an awesome first track. Glue yourself to the back tire of a control rider and lock onto his or her line follow thier body position and you will improve your skills fast.

  6. New people come out every day. They bring excitement, nervousness, confusion ect. That stuff happens just brush it off "if no one got hurt" and learn from it. Things that are honest mistakes and accidents will get over looked and worked thru. Intentional retardism and dumb shit though will get you kicked out. Pay attention in the riders meeting and don't be afraid to ask questions, we all are there to help. Find a control rider and ask him to tow you around the first session, that will help you a ton. I'll be at Mid Ohio a lot this year if you make it out. Putnam is an excellent track for your first time
