Since you brought it up I'll say this.. I have yet to respond to a sportbike crash, all the bike wrecks I've rolled on have been HD's and all but 1 yes thats right ALL but 1 were alcohol related. Now is that the stat in all Dept's well I don't know but it is what all mine have been.

Ok so Im fat and lazy and don't feel like walking my fat arse all over at MidOhio on the 8th and 9th for the superbike races and the regular crowd is backing out so there will be no golf cart and I gots no pit bike no more sooo. whos gonna loan me or rent me their pit bike, scooter, ect for that weekend????? A Honda Ruckus would be the shiznit if someone has one of those since Im thinking about buying one a weekend ride on one would help me decide. Who's gonna hook a brother up???

Get over myself? I'm not the one that thinks I'm better than anybody else or my bike is netters than yours! If you are happy with tour bike good for you. Everybody is different and I don't like stereotypes that's my issue. I have this conversation on gun forums too. If you like your gun good for just cause I don't have "x" brand and instead have "y" brand or caliber why should you care? Sorry I don't pretend online I am who I am.

Yes I do and I never deny that. And I don't dislike you, I've never met you. Believe it or not I have many friends that are HD riders and most of my family rides HD too. I am the only one in my family that rides a sportbike and the shit I give them is far more than I've ever dished out here.

look at Hoblick, he doesnt let the stuff bother him (he even plays along) and nobody gets after him or tries to run him off etc.....but when people get all butthurt and cry about things, that is what gets annoying, not the fact that you ride a harley, just that youre crying about it....youre on a site mainly used by sportbike riders - you have to expect to see some anti-cruiser comments here and there

i see people rag on jap brands here more than they do harleys... idk how many times ive read "yea - but its still a honda" or "go figure the squid was riding a gixxer"

I think you're missing the point here. That's pretty much what the rest of us are saying but joking around about it. The cold hard truth? Nobody gives a fuck what anybody else rides. If you're cool, you're cool. If you're a douche, you're a douche. The bike you ride doesn't change that.

Just the same as the Harley crowd seems to put all sportbike riders in the same grouping (no, we don't all ride with the helmet on the side of the bike, wearing shorts and flipflops, doing 160 on one wheel).

Here we go again! What does it matter what type of vehicle anybody rides? Don't we want more riders? More members here? Nah let's bash Harley-Davidson instead!

It's not so much Harley Davidson we are bashing, they seem to be a stand up company that provides jobs... It's the stereotypical mentality of the average HD rider that we are bashing. Read carefully before you make assumptions that we are bashing a company and not bashing poor choices.

Better than a Harley? What constitutes that?? I know it can't be anything mechanical, because as we all know, Harley's hold their value more than any other bike because of the quality of the craftmenship. Or maybe it is? I mean, c'mon, I have 111,ooo miles on my Harley and it runs GREAT! I had two Hondas & they had to be replaced at 30,000 miles & my cousins Goldwing has had the engine replaced twice. Nope, can't be about the quality. How about the comfort of ride? Yes, so comfortable being crouched up - umm, nope. Each bike has it's own purpose, and they are all fun to ride. Real bikers don't care about the type of bike another rides, nor do they put it down, we just care that they ride. It is what we call brotherhood.

They "hold value" because most of the people that buy them don't know any better and the sleeveless teeshirt the dealer throws in makes the deal irresistible. I know I'm waiting in line to pay 16,000 for 1980's technology and an oil spot in my garage.

Keep it concealed and no one will ever know and therefore will never be an issue

Im down for weekend at the gap too, we'll make it happen.
