You can get an F4I for that $. I'm not a huge gixxer or kawi fan but you're riding it not me. Just do your research before hand so you know what to look at when you check one out. If I was going to get a 600 I'd get a fuel injected R6, 600RR or F4I

I had one 10yrs ago and went -1 on the front and +2 on the rear and it wasnt bad at all. If he'll trade you and it's in good shape you should trade. You'll have a hell of alot more fun riding with us on that than on the vmax.

Thanks for all the info. I've got the weekend called off from Fri-Sun so I'll have to be at work Mon so that means no rafting for me but it looks like I'll be along for the riding as long as my buddy comes so I can afford to sleep under a roof.

You will have a much better time at the hotel with the group as opposed to the campgrounds. Thats part of the weekend getaway is the camaraderie and stories after the days ride along with dinner together. There are no CG's right by the hotel that I know of so you will miss alot. That and a solid day down there will wear you out and you'll want a room to kick back in not a tent.

I've not noticed any campgrounds by where we are staying when I've been there.

Guys the only day you'll need off work for this is Friday. If you can get Fri just after work and meet up that'll work too.

Prolly just guys, bikes stay in the parking lot. No issues last time, I've got a long cable that can lock about 20 together if you want to. And reall the only day you would need off is Friday.

Keep the tank full is the best way to keep from rusting. To get it out remove the tank and dump it. As for rust removal there are several products at NAPA.

Or just put a good filter on it and run it.
