there was a pink bike this past weekend at Putnam with a "C" sticker on it. I saw it and assumed there was a female control rider who was going to embarrass me on a pink bike. (i've been schooled by at least 3 female control riders)

turns out it belonged to a "B" group rider, but one of the Control Riders had borrowed her bike when his was out of gas at the end of the day. I assume she's either dating or married to the guy, but not necessarily.

Nesba has a girl crontrol rider that rides a pink 600rr and is wicked fast.

I am amused at the direction this thread has gone.

I've had 3 done myself and sent several others to Hardshift in Johnstown on 62. Quick turn time and prices inline or a touch cheaper than the others. Top notch work and noones had to take any back. 1 was from an F350 I had a few years back that I was hauling cars and trailers with all over the country, put 190,000 miles on that tranny before I sold the truck hooked to a trailer for everyone of those miles and never an issue.

Well if I dig I can find that pic of you being totally baller on the blue ninja. This one would be an improvement.

make sure the tire pressure isn't less than half the recommended pressure on the next ride so todd doesn't keep getting these bargains off of you.

There are notaries everywhere that are open at 530 Shawn, bad move. Car dealers everywhere open till 8 or 9 and all have atleast one notary, had to be a car dealer by his house. And most every walmart has a bank in it now as well open till 9.

No Moose I dont think you would, but you're not a mechanic and most likely were not watching him work on it either. So you would not know what really happend and noone else would either for that matter. But I am sure if you did know somthing you wouldnt stand for it.

I would wan them a bit longer to protect better and keep more of the bike off the ground and those are way pricey. But I've never tried them so thats an under educated opinion.

Personally I'd go with the Trex Delrin sliders thats what I always use.

When I called I asked them to give me a solution. They were there with a trailer that night and there has been no mention of a bill so far. I hope it turns out ...

I call "damage control" and would bet they are biting their nails. But again I've not looked at it.

So nobody else finds it odd that 150 miles after this "service" the bike suddenly develops this death gurgle? 20k+ on the bike and no signs of this impending bottom end doom were noticed by the tech immediately before or after the work?

Disclosure: I work with Tim. Didn't hear the bike before or after. He buys the coincidence, I'm a bit skeptical.

Yes I do, but I'm bitting my tongue a bit as the servicer is a site sponsor and I've not looked at the bike myself. Site sponsor or not though, if I do happen to look at the bike theres a couple things I would check and then would be brutally honest with my opinion if it turned out to be tooooo "coincidental".

But I would deff have been pretty harsh with them when it happend.
