  1. Is the 43 any better than the 42?   Because the 42 isn't great.

I can't honestly answer that as I've never shot a 42. I only use 9mm in pistol so only have 43. It functions flawlessly and is barely larger than the PF9. Substantially better as well. I have a PF9 also so can say the 43 is leaps and bounds better

  2. I don't know how this is even a discussion anymore...

The Pit-Bull trailer restraint system is bomb-proof.  Unless your bike doesn't have a compatible axle, there's no reason to use anything else.  If your bike doesn't have a hollow axle, Pit-Bull will machine a 'cup' that your axle nut and bolt fit in, and then the 'pin' sits inside said 'cup.'  I have only seen this solution implemented for the Ninja 250 racing crowd, but the theory would work fine for basically any bike I can think of.

Because a lot of people don't want to pay 300 for a stand and drill 6 large holes in their $40k truck bed. ;)
  3. The stitching came undone in the webbing. I have pics if you would like. Canyon Dancer sent me a new one, like $20, and some free tie downs. They definitely handled it well, but still a close call I'd rather not repeat.

Wasn't it on your trailer that this happened?

No not mine. They stood behind the product and made it right though. That says a lot.
  4. Canyon Dancers are all I use and you know I trailer everywhere. Yes there's stories of failure out there, but they are human failure not the CD failure. Any system can fail if you don't use it properly.

Knowing what you're doing is usually far more important than the product you are using.

I've never had an issue with the CD.

  5. No thickening. That's standard protocol. The scene is bigger than the state fire marshal has resources for so they turn the scene over. The ATF is really the only agency with the resources for a scene that large.

Each FD has am investigator that covers small structures and small single family homes.

FD turns over to county for large homes and and multiple structures.

County turns to state for multi family homes, apartments, commercial buildings and crime scenes.

State turns to ATF for anything that exceeds their resources, federal buildings or property and suspected forms of terrorism or hate crimes
