casper , how long till josh closes on his house and can take the dog ? I could prolly keep it here for him till he closed if it'll get along with my rott and wont be forever. only problem is the getting along thing mine isnt real friendly to most others but she has gotten along with 2 so far

vances has them , prices are a bit high there IMO. JJ1 is a member on here and works at vances he would prolly help you out with selection if you go when he's working . I use gunbroker.com when I need a gun or the gun shows , theres one tomarrow at vets

you need slugs for deer , you dont want to use slugs for home defense

slugs come rifled and non rifled

dont want to shoot buckshot thru a rifled barrel, ruins the rifleing

if you dont want to swap barrel get a smooth 20" unchoked barrel and use rifled slugs for deer and 00 buckshot for home

a choked barrel gets slightly smaller at the end to keep the buckshot tighter longer

yep you could use that for both but get the smooth barreled version and use a rifled slug , so your not shooting buckshot down a rifled barrel

thatd be good for the home , thats basicly the same one I have at home but thats not a deer barrel that comes with it
