This is the part I don't get. For the same money or less I can take off into mountians on a weekend and get a cheap hotel room and enjoy the scenery and different surroundings. Not going around the same corners over and over again. There is no doubt it's probably fun but I just don't thinks it's as nice as touring and being on the open road. Everyone has different taste and likes I guess.
Couldn't have said it better myself

You wrong .track day at midohio is cover by your insurance, because is midohio school day.
I read some info and looks like it is possible insurance would cover it if not a "race". Still taking a chance with a lot of money as it is not a cut and dry situation.
Thanks for the info! Makes my decision less cut and dry now too

RHill: agree on the cheap track bike...not in my plans.
Disagree on the toy comment : I am not broke, but still not going to be a "good day" if my "toy" is burned to the ground.

that "crashed" thing is why I'm keeping my ass off the track. Insurance frowns upon wrecking your 16k bike at a racetrack and will deny the claim....

Wish I could go, way too long for and old guy on a supersport. I feel like I knew him but never met.

I vow to not have 8 motorcycles next year like I did this year. I hope I really like this new bike....

I don't live in Cleveland, but what's your point? Should I go around grabbing shitty stories about cbus and posting them....I assure you there are plenty.

I need to develop bike shares....like time shares for motorcycles. You could buy in and use each bike for a period of time. Just keep rotating new bikes in and out of the program

And bicycles are quite a bit cheaper than motorcycles....at least most are.

I personally did not care for its looks....that's part of it for me. Then the drop-off in power after about 110....not used to that. Also....not much in the electronics dept....I like tech. Just a little boring for me..and we know how fast I get bored anyway

I question this and am really looking for input. Not being a dik about it.
How does track riding make you a better/safer street rider. You don't have the traffic, bad roads...etc. I could see a class dedicated to street principles, and good old fashioned practice/riding with more experienced rideas, but track instruction form cocky instructors??
