  1. Haven't made a bike night in awhile, busy as hell around here shuttling kids everywhere. Today is my last weekday long bike day, kids go back to school as well as my babysitter. Leaving in about an hour or so, might go north this time and get lost for 6 hours, who knows. Meadows, in farmbrook? I can't remember my wifes birthday let alone street names in my neighborhood...
  2. I drove down 75 sunday from florida, saw the sidewalk as well. Being in the concrete paving business its basically a footer for the freeway median to rest on....

  4. I'd ride there but being in alabama(greenbow?) heading to florida might be a bit long. Didn't get to bring the bike, sigh....

    Wed ride

Heading out wed morning about 930am from Pickerington, not really sure where I'll go, this damn cold attacked me Sat and I feel like shit, but not enough to not ride. Either head towards coshocton, or towards the ohio river, or where the wind goes, lol. If your interested PM me and I'll send ya my cell.
  6. I'll wave, don't care if you wave back, I've been out of high school a couple decades.....
  7. I'd love to go, yourt close. Got to ride rt188 from circlejerk to lancaster today, that is a great road. Might head out about 7pm tonight, painting the kids rooms now.
  8. Bought the bike 6 weeks ago, have 3700 on her
  9. I'd love to meet up and go, might see if I can escape(not a word julie) an ride up there, eat, donate and ride home, not too much to ask! Now I'm trying to figure out how to bungee 2 air mattresses to the bike for my in-laws, its sunny and I wanna ride. Mike
  10. When you look at the everytrips page, above the map click the stats link, shows you the elevation graph and speed graph, very cool.
  11. I'm glad she doesn't read this forum Julie. The section of 555 I did today, was in great shape, pretty clear of gravel, horseshit, did wipe out a flock of sparrows, thank god for the shield, plus scratch 2 blacksnakes, turned them into 4. Almost hit a pair of fawns on 78, going about 78. Its my second trip to 555, I'm getting better and better, dragging the boards more and more, I think I know the limit now before they hit, which scares the shit out of me every time. Didn't see many bikers today, I did get trash thrown at me from a pickup full of huge farmboys, guess they thought I was riding too close, shit they were going 25 on rt555 in a POS chevy made in the roosevelt years. I did the middle finger wave as I went by. mike
  12. Here is the spreedsheet showing you the elevation changes, my actual speed and time for the trip broken into small sections, very cool. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AmeIM94aqNk8dFowODBRR2NYQVNVTVJYZ1h5R3p3bGc&hl=en If you goto my trip page you can see the route the data came from. Is here: http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=290561
  13. Just got back from riding hocking and 555, I have a garmin oregon 200 gps and I'm looking at the elevation graphs for the trip. Hocking hills highs around 1075 feet and lows around 750 to 800, rt 555( I didn't get to ride the far southern run) highs 1100 and lows 690's. I wish I could post the graph, I'll try later.... Mike
  14. Headed out today at 830am and got back at 230pm by myself, about 210 miles. Uploaded the trip to everytrail.com, pictures and description can be found here: http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=290561 Mike Have 3400 miles in less than 6 weeks!
  15. wife got home late late from work, no bike night on broad, will try the one in hilliard tonight. I have time so I'll try to put something together for a trip. Mike
  16. I think monday is the day the niece wants to do instead of the normal wed. babysit day. I have her come over at 10 am and have to be back at 5 SHARP. I rode 541, it was a fun road, lots of twisty's and elavation changes with great scenery, bad news was today that area was wet and misty, plus since it rained the last two days, farm trucks(and buggy's) left mud everywhere, plus horse shit, so I had to really slow down, think I was in 4th for a few miles of the better stuff. The later in the day the drier it got, still had fun though. If I can go monday what do you have in mind? I like to load the route into my gps, have a really nice RAM mount for the bike, plus I love gadgets. If the wife every gets home from work I plan on driving up to the bike night on broad, might see some of you guys up there. Mike
  17. Went alone, gear up for the rain, which was at worst a drizzle. Stopped in Coshocton Micky D's for lunch, headed out to Salt fork Lake for an hour break, radar looked bad on my cell phone so I jumped on 77 south to 70 west, made up some time, got back on my route in zansville, got to go over the y bridge, rt 22 to 204 and home by 440pm. Didn't get any pics, forgot to charge the camera in my bag, dumbass. Stayed dry but my lower back is killing me, getting a mustang seat with driver backrest next, then maybe risers to bring the bars back 2" and 1" up, got to see how the mustang changes my position before going the riser route. Stayed dry, nice ride, I took it easy on the wet roads, the last hour home most were dry, but I was out of the twisty's by then. Monday is my next trip. Mike
  18. I still have hope. The rain over easton is the only clump of rain clouds in the area, its moving north east, east of us hasn't seen rain in awhile. Dammit I wanna ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Looks good so far, all the storms north and east of us. Accuweather shows cloudy during the trip with around 1pm a higher chance of t storms. See ya a 10.
  20. I would love to change it to friday, but it doesn't work for my babysitter sadly. Crossing my fingers and doing the non-rain dance. I'm the same, raining I'm stopping looking for cover. Looks like its going to be spotty pop up type showers, hate riding in the rain!
  21. cool! don't have to ride alone. Got the gps route loaded, can you print out the route from the web link? My printer is fried. Out east of C-bus we have had light light rain most of the day, starting to get heavier, still a chance tomorrow but it looks doable. Can't wait.
  22. Damn, would love to sneak away for 2 days, let alone 8 or more!!!! TRUST ME, go now pre-kids, no matter what the wifey says, you WILL NOT be able to go until the kids are almost out of the house, you'll be old, grey, and not able to go 30 minutes without a rest room break, and a trike starts sounding good....
  23. Got things changed to thursday thank god, leave at 10am at AMA museum, return before 5pm. Mike
  24. Looney is out, raining up his way, still dry here i pickerington, for now. Trying to get my babysitter to switch to thursday. Its raining south and west of here, looks like trip is not going to happen today. this sux... Mike
