  1. I've got a great ride that takes about a couple of hours. It runs around Alum (stop at Cheshire for a slice of the best pizza you ever had), then out to the Scioto. No traffic, great roads. I'll go at around 3 or 4. If you want to meet up, lemme know. Hey Strictly Street, You'll like this circuit.
  2. Great awareness! On the very day I picked up my bike, I went for a night ride. At a light, I heard the tires screeching towards me from behind. He made it into the other lane and just sat there with a terrified look on his face. I was lucky.
  3. Welcome! Where in Cols?
  4. Unbelievable. Heath Ledger, David caradine, Ed McMahon, Michael Jackson, Farrah Faucett, Billy Mays, Carl Malden....Who's next?
  5. Only in very small circles would anyone even know what you were wearing. I get Stereo Review and think the same thing - "This is for people with tons of disposable income. People with obscene amounts of money. Musbe nice.
  6. Thanks! great pictures - the views looked amazing.
  7. It's a quick, almost intuitive action. Very briefly cut the throttle while grabbing another gear. The more you think about it, the sloppier the shift. A motorcycle transmission is just like a Formula One transmission. Rounded pegs connect into the sides of the gears. It's very rugged and makes for instant gear changes. It doesn't ruin or even hurt the trans. What does hurt the trans is when you don't get a full shift. I usually grab the clutch just because it's so programed-in.
  8. Sounds like a fun day. Maybe next time.
  9. Proly my usual 'North Columbus Scenic Waterways Tour'. Wanna go?
  10. I'll be ridin. Sorry you didn't make it.
  11. Good times. Except for that shit splash rain all over my paint job. And Smokey Bones has the slowest kitchen in Columbus.
  12. Definitely. 7PM. It'll be good to meet ya.
  13. I'll be there. Rain should hold out like it did this evening. Hope so anyways.
  14. Rain's generally a drag. I hate snakes in the hot sun. Went down to Hocking Hills a few weeks ago and the place was full of 'em! Not terrible if you're used to them but the pucker factor does go up.
  15. I know that you can carry a firearm at your side with no permit or anything as long as you're showing it. Now, you may not be able to walk into a store that way, but you can ride with it as long as it's showing (right?). So I guess it's not just there for decoration and if someone pulls a weapon on you, you're within your rights to protect yourself. What if he never fired his weapon? I mean, the object is to A) serve justice and B) walk
  16. I went riding on Saturday and my turns sucked. Sunday I went out and all was back to normal. Tip - If you're around the North side or Airport area, and you want to run some curves in peace, there's a road out at the Airport called Bridgeway. Net Jets is on this road. After-hours and all day on Sunday, you can play on this road. Clean, grippy, curvy with no tar snakes and real smooth. You'll see what I mean. Cheers! Here's a link to the map CLICKY
  17. The babe in the car that cut you off could have been his girlfriend. You never know what mental problems people have. Definitely should've got his plate. Any chance at all of being on that road again? People do the same things and go the same places everyday. Remember the car and driver (I know you will) and look for him everytime.
  18. I don't know about thinnest, but the most compact helmet I've seen is Arai. There are also lots of helmets in Europe that we never get to see. Might be worth a search.
  19. Have a happy one! Looking forward to meeting you.
  20. All I have are ones like this. I'll shoot some tomorrow. Maybe I'll make them a bit smaller.
  21. Got the message! We're all 'back of the bus' now.

  22. From your avatar picture I can see that you're a very tiny person. I'd go no lower than a 250. Check out some of the smaller cruisers. Easy to flat foot. Hope to see you out!
