I don't doubt frost 45 minutes North of Mackinac. I remember a burger place on the island that made a sort of Whopper type sandwich. Best I ever had! That and the fudge of course.

Of all the valves I've checked - car or bike - I only came across two that were on the line, not even out of spec. If you had to compress the tensioner, it may be stuck unless you saw it spring back.

Sounds pretty good in the videos. Is it that random muffled clacking? Seems to be great with revs. Could be gears and chains naturally lashing about at idle.

I think it would involve a gyro for radio controlled helicopter and a good fast servo.

Old trick, works just about every time. It's pretty much 'bread-out' by college. This attempt was probably the worst I've seen and it still worked! I say, in little league, alway go for a trick play. Always.

The Yamaha FJR1300 is famous for that. Problem has been determined to be valve guides. My '03 never got it but countless have. Does this model of yours have any history of this?

In determining if someones FJR had the 'tick', you would always have to ask yourself if you're just hearing to much into it. Injectors naturally tick and some valve tick can be normal until operating temps come up.

Sounds like you need a new fan motor. Here's a good check - take a house box fan and set it on top of the unit so it blows upward. Turn it on high and hit the AC. If you get cooling, then nothing else is wrong. I think in the least, you need a fan motor.

until ducati makes a actual frame like the rest of the bikes in the field, the front feel on it will always suck. a carbon fiber frame is not the way to go. especially when you have a 7 time world champion telling you the lack of feel is no good, it's time to hang up the idea.

If it is debris, I don't doubt it. The city highways look like Baghdad. If you had to pull over or swerve into the berms in a hurry, there are some places where you could be in big trouble. Then there are the semis going 70+ through the heart of town.

Where in Cols you at? I've got a great circuit North Cols. that sees no traffic. It's a total 1.5 hr ride but you can cut one leg off to make it an hour. It's north of 270, West of I-71, East of the Scioto River, and South of 36/37.

How you doin' Jeff? Any estimate on when you ride again?
