5 bikini baristas accused of prostitution Women reportedly charged up to $80 to strip down while fixing coffees updated 12:19 p.m. ET, Thurs., Sept . 24, 2009 EVERETT, Wash. - Five Washington state baristas charged customers to touch their breasts and buttocks at an espresso stand where servers wear bikinis to draw business, police said. The five were charged Wednesday with prostitution. Charging money for that kind of touching falls under the city's definition of prostitution. The Everett Herald reports the women were charging up to $80 to strip down while fixing lattes and mochas. During a two-month investigation, detectives also saw the women lick whipped cream off each other and pose naked for pictures at the Grab-n-Go Espresso stand in Everett, about 30 miles north of Seattle. Owner Bill Wheeler told KCPQ-TV employees sign a policy prohibiting the kind of behavior alleged by police. He said anyone caught doing anything illegal would be fired. The women, ages 18 to 24, were not arrested, said Sgt. Robert Goetz. They were expected to be in Municipal Court in a few weeks to answer misdemeanor charges. 40 complaints Police have received more than 40 complaints in the past year of women exposing themselves at coffee stands. Goetz said the department investigated Grab-n-Go because it had the most complaints. "This was about alleged conduct, not about what the women were wearing," he said. "They could have been wearing parkas and if they continued to conduct themselves that way, we still would have filed the criminal charges." Undercover detectives began posing as customers in mid-July. During one visit, a barista allegedly told a detective that for $20, she and another barista would give him a show. He paid and they bared their breasts and pulled down their undergarments. The women also charged customers to play "basketball," a game in which customers threw wadded up money at the women, who caught the money in their underwear, detectives said. Friend with 81 or 82 Maxim has problem where he can only ride for about an hour or so and then his bike shuts off. If he lets it cool it will start again and run for a while ending up the same. He said he thinks it's a coil issue. Any other ideas?

The crash happened at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, on state Route 229, west of state Route 314, in Morrow County. A 2007 Ford Taurus driven by 55-year-old Wilma A. Wickware of Marengo was traveling westbound on SR 229. She was attempting to turn into Highland Community Park when she was struck by a 2007 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by 59-year-old Stanley A. Craig of Ashville. Motorcycle passenger Danette S. Craig, 59, of Ashville and Stanley both were thrown from the motorcycle and were not wearing helmets. Wickware was transported to the Morrow County Hospital by the Morrow County EMS. Stanley was taken by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus and died from his injuries late Tuesday evening. Danette was pronounced dead at the scene by the Morrow County coroner. State routes 229 and 314 were closed during the accident investigation. The crash remained under investigation. Troopers didn’t update Wickware’s condition.

Ok so UPDATE time! Bosco's a fighter... COLUMBUS, Ohio — Veterinarians said Thursday that Bosco, the police dog shot in the line of duty, is showing signs of improvement, but they said it is still too early to tell whether he will walk again. Bosco has been receiving care at the Ohio State University Veterinary Hospital since the shooting Sunday night, 10TV's Maureen Kocot reported. The 3-year-old Dutch shepherd's human partner, Zanesville police Office Mike Mike Schiele, was attempting to serve a warrant when gunfire erupted. Schiele was hit in the leg while Bosco, who had been let loose to attack the gunman, was wounded in the neck. Bosco's caregivers offered a grim outlook earlier this week, saying he appeared to be paralyzed, with no movement in his front legs and very limited movement in his hind legs. On Thursday, there was better news regarding the dog's condition. "On Monday he could just barely move one of his legs and as of today he's moving both of his back legs pretty well," said veterinarian Dr. Amy Butler. "He's starting to move his front legs and he's starting to bear more weight on them, so we're happy with his progress." Veterinarians believe the dog's spinal cord is still bruised, and they stressed that it is still too early to predict whether or not Bosco will walk again. Each day, three times a day, Bosco undergoes physical therapy for an hour-and-half. He also gets daily visits from Schiele. Veterinarians said the dog's appetite is healthy. They even joked that he has been eating like a pig. "Here we've been feeding him canned food and he loves it," Butler said. "And people are bringing him steak and salmon, all kinds of good treats. He's getting spoiled." Veterinarians said the next three to six weeks will reveal if the dog will walk again. If you've ever been lucky enough to know one of these animals. You know that this is torture for him. These dogs live to work and are miserable when they can't. I know of one personally that wore down his teeth and had to have Titanium replacements (really awesome looking) when his handler had a broken leg and could not work. Let's all still keep him and his handler in our thoughts and prayers. I have had people ask and I do not know how they are handling donations for Bosco's care.
