  1. I'm going to tell him that the title MUST be notarized, and no notary is open today. If he pays cash then he can take the bike and bill of sale today, and I'll get the transfer section of the title notarized tomorrow and mail it to him. He can then have the title switched over into his name.

Where did you get a bill of sale at? I don't want to type one up. Just curious if you found something online or what.

  2. That is awesome to see you able to ride with the father and grandfather. My dad has ridden bikes for years but has not had a bike since I have been alive, but I would love to take a trip like this with him.

Also, I know exactly where those Roanoke pics where taken. I used to live there for 2 years and traveled the Blue Ridge in that area quite often! Can't wait to move back so I can ride it on the bike!!

Sounds like it was a great trip!

  3. Wasn't me but my buddy was learning to ride with my bike. He did fine until he stopped. Don't know what he was thinking but lost his footing and over goes the bike! He's kinda short like midget Todd short. I was PISSED! Luckily it didn't do much damage. It did scratch the right side plastic a little but nothing too crazy. I already have a scratched up left fairing so whatever. I might be buying some new plastics soon if i dont sell it today. Let's just say that was the last time he rode it.

  4. I LOVE the vrods! I would love to own one for some city riding antics. :D Sportbikes just blow in the city IMO.

My philosophy = sportbikes (country roads and no stop/go riding)

    Cruisers (City riding)

    Agreed...

Sweet ride! I'm still thinking about switching over to cruiser mode.

  5. We rode about 90 miles or so out to London, down to Circleville, then back.

What part of Circleville did you come through? I finally took the bike out today as well. Went down to Pike Lake and back.

Brian, glad you were able to get out on that beauty today!

  6. heat gun or blowdrier. I can get you the stickers from honda. I need to know rt or left

Sweet! It would be the left.... Let me know what kind of price we are talking and I'll let you know. I appreciate that man!

I did read about using a blowdryer after I posted this thread. I still need the fairing painted though before I put the new decals on.

  7. I will have to look that up, Thanks...

Yeah, I've looked at around the net for a while last night but I could not find my scheme. I wouldn't mind just taking all the decals off to have a clean bike but if I am trying to to sell it I'm not sure if people would freak with them not being on there. I would just leave the side decals off. I have seen something along the lines of a heat gun to remove decals but not sure if the same thing could be done on plastic but I highly doubt it.

  8. So, I did some wrenching on the bike yesterday. It felt so good to get out in the garage and just do some stuff on it. Changed the oil and cleaned it up a bit.

While I was doing this I obviously needed to take the fairing off, so I decided to take the rashed fairing off as well (why not?) As I was looking as it further, I noticed that the fairing is not in bad shape at all. The grooves that are highly noticable are the decals and not the fairing. I am thinking of taking the decals off, repainting fairing, and put new decals on.

Questions: What is the best way to remove decals? Where could I find original decals to replace them with? Possible cost for repainting?

Below is the bike with the color scheme.

  9. GO Runnin' Rebels ! if they beat Illinois probably will get smashed by Kansas. anyone here pulling for a team besides OSU ?

I picked Duke to win it all. I'm not a true fan but I like Coach K. I will be rooting for Florida but i know they will probably run into BYU and Florida has not been the greatest this year.

OSU is going to win it all. Just saying.

Nope, they'll choke like they always do....

I know I am going to be wrong but I took OSU and Vander to the final with OSU winning it... Wont happen.

    Then why pick 'em? :wtf:

  10. Fug Florida...bugs never die, humid heat, fire ants, too many tourists, etc...

There is something about Florida that is sweet! I went down there for Christmas and hated it after the first two days, but that is where my heart is. I lived there for 20+ years. Tampa is not too bad but I was down in South Florida and it is worse down there. Hopefully we'll be heading to Virginia here in the next year. That is a nice place to live! Blue Ridge Mountains? I think so!!!
