  1. Speaking of police stories, I read one a long time ago that was hilarious. Don't know why, just was at the time.

So a cop pulls a guy over for speeding. He walks up to the car and said, "Son, I've been waiting here all day for you!" The guy looks at the officer and said, "Well, I got here as fast as I could!" The cop just laughed and let the dude go...

  2. I've put quite a bit through my BodyGuard and never had that issue. I use cheap at range; good defensive ammo loaded in mine otherwise. I did hear that the .380 was having trigger issues, but I heard it was within the first 50 rounds through it and you could tell. Not sure how true that was when my buddy told me that.I did notice that the trigger is a little tough to pull back and really stay relaxed, not cool... I guess I am use to shooting the Hi-Point with a lite pull.

  3. ...point of the story is who is moving to florida with me?

South Florida just sucks with crazies! I was just down there for Christmas and it is worse than when I lived there. Now if you were to go up north toward Ocala, not so bad. Kinda have some good roads and definitely not as congested.

this is why im glad i was lazy and didn't have time to un-winterize my bike. I knew this was going to happen and it would kill me

Ding, Ding, Ding.... I charged my battery up and started her up, but said no. I knew it would be crap weather after last week and didn't want to tease of riding just yet.

  4. Not to tall, fury man is seeking not lbts partner. Must ride motorscooters, be teh fastest, and woolie like the asphalt junkies. Must also shoot guns and be able to party with the pringles can all night long!!! Meow glws!!!

Sounds like the gen3flygirl... Either that or a dude. :wtf:

  5. Welcome....

Hey, if you're up to wrenching on a bike I have two Katanas sitting in my garage for sale. One is in pieces but everything is there. It's a 93 750 I believe. THe other one is a 94 600. That one just needs new tires....

  6. My wife was freaked out at first too but she has been pretty cool about it. I told her I would love for her to take the class just for safety reasons and knowing how to handle the gun when I'm not home. I have two handguns, one for carry and one for home. There are times I just leave my gun on the table when I come in and she doesn't care. I don't carry all the time but when I do she could care less. She has opened up to it a lot since I have my license and I have a safe in the house and all. Of course I will not leave the gun on the table once the kid is walking. She is still too young for that.

  7. I have the Gorilla on mine and works good but disconnected it due to battery dying. Not sure if it was that or just a weak battery when I bought the bike. If you had the iPhone, I believe the Scorpio connects through GPS and you get alerts on your phone if it is moved, messed with, or whatever. Maybe it was a different alarm that did that, can't remember... I have the bike paid off so my home owners insurance covers my loss if stolen...

  8. Well i really didnt make any other than try not to be such an asshole.

    Its a struggle most days.

Trying to eat smart and be more active. my gym is so full of bums im looking to switch and am forcing myself to go. might have to look at Urban Active.

I didn't make any either but I did make a choice to eat health and lose weight for me and not for a stupid resolution. I started a little after new years but only like a week. You've seen my post on facebook, you know. I have some friends in Florida that we keep each other somewhat accountable. It's kinda cool I see the progress and feeling much better!

No way i can cut out caffeine, im an addict. Howd you do it?

I cut out a ton of sugar and I'm down to just a little bit of carbs a day. I just quit soda cold turkey but I was a sprite drinker, caffeine free :D

22 lbs since January 1st. 50 by December was the goal and I'm pretty confident that I'll get there. Have not had a bight of fast food in over a month! Don't even want it any more.

That is awesome man! Keep up the good work! I'm down 18lbs in 5 weeks now. I feel better eating right. I actually just had Chinese tonight and it made me sick. Tried to eat healthy there but no luck...

Started before the new year. Down to 212 from 265. Went from A teknic 52 to an a*44 and from a 40 waist jean down to a 34. Haven't been this small since high school. Still hitting the gym 6-7 days a week (1 or 2 days of just cardio) and I use Aspen fitness in reynoldsburg.

Would really like to c 185.

Awesome! It's sweet to see the change.

  9. Yeah, figure 8 was a pain but it was better to go outside the line a tad than dump the bike. I did the MSF and it is well worth the $25... I know their test was a quick stop, figure 8, turn and one other thing but. Maybe it was just three things. We did practice a lot more stuff than they do the test over. Plus the only size bikes they have are 250's so taking your test with one might no be too bad.

I rode on the highway with my permit. Always nervous when I saw a cop but always obeyed the road laws too. Not the permit rules, just the road one. :D I road at night a few times but never too far, just in town. Never rode 2up though... I know you have to wear your helmet with the permit too. That should be a given to do with or without.
