RV coverage adds abotu $35/year or somethign really small like that. I have AAA Gold + RV for my wife and I and it's under 200 a year.
-
Definitely need the RV coverage. Oh, and I don't know if they will tow a bike you just bought and planned ahead of time, but they will defintiely tow a bike you just bought that won't start or that broke down.

Hope she is OK. Rushed to hospital by EMS for incapacitating injuries? I'd want to know she's ok before I laugh too much. Oh, and these reports are public record - you can get them online for free with all this info. I sometimes read local accident reports to try to understand accident trends and likelihood of hit-skip etc. About 50% of accidents near where I work are ACDA (rear-enders). Most of the rest are left-turners. My favorite (will have to dig this up) is the drunk guy in Dublin who swerved back and forth from ditch to ditch across a divided highway several times hitting crap every time before hitting a big tree and still trying to drive away. He told the police his car broke down and he didn't know why it wasn't working. And I always giggle when I see an accident coded as a solved hit-skip, solved because the front license plate was left at the scene.

The much torque that low + that little HP = Diesel? EDIT: Website says 430 Horsepower @ 5,900 rpm, not 265hp. Still think it must be a diesel but it doesn't say on the specs page on the website.

Probably a commercial for Nokia.

So he puts a string of words in the bottom of his ad hoping that people searching for those terms will find his ad... Why would he think that someone searching for GSXR would suddenly change their mind and buy his Honda Shadow??

Got that fuel pressure issue sorted?

Not for long.

How many times have you heard the ATF say that nobody should ever have guns in the house?
-
Could have used a punchline - like she runs all the way to her house, cop busts in to the house and corners her up against the kitchen counter face to face and then, after a few tense moments (and gratuitous boobie shots), he kisses her and says "See you after my shift is over, honey. Don't forget it's the kids' soccer practice tonight so we'll be a little late."

I have this friend who keeps coming into the office saying things like; "Obama was born in Kenya*" or something else equally stupid and I always ask him if he heard it from one of those angry AM radio DJs. * = "We have a Kenyan birth certicate!" "The claims that the Kenyan birth certificate is a hoax are fake!" "The supposedly 'real' Kenyan birth certificate that Obama's was supposedly faked from is the real fake!" "They now have a fake Hawaii birth certificate!" "Now they have the hawaii government backing up this fake birth certificate!" Me: "You know his mother was born in the US, that makes him a natural born citizen regardless of where he was born...?" Him: "THAT MEANS YOU ADMIT HE WAS BORN IN KENYA!" Me:

Propaganda. So they have created a powerful new body that can pass laws without amendments, and it *could* include anti-gun legislation if any republicans cross the aisle? It could also include anti-abortion legislation if any democrats cross the aisle, or pro-abortion, or pro-gun, or anti-car, or pro-car, or pretty much anything. "Obamacare" is anti-gun because they can compile health information and use it to deny gun ownership to people who are medically unfit to own a gun? By that token it is also anti-car because they can use the information to deny driver's licenses to people who are medically unfit to drive. Propaganda and scaremongering in an attempt to sell their $4.95 "Confrontational Politics" publication.

The search was based upon a warrant obtained in bad faith. This is a violation of the constitution. If we allow the evidence found in an unlawful search to stand then we ALL lose some of the protection from unlawful searches. I'd rather see the guilty go free than live in a country where the police can search anyone any time with no rules because they know then can get away with it.

In other unrelated news, I now have a bunch of vouyeur videos I can sell. Anyone interested?

http://www.10tv.com/live/content/local/stories/2011/08/05/story-columbus-dibble-supreme-court.html?sid=102 Basically, a guy is accused of secretly filming girls in a dressing room. The police went to a judge asking for a warrant to search for the videos, but they knew a judge would never sign a warrant on a he-said-she-said, so they added a second "victim" to the warrant request. The second "victim" was not a victim and they knew it, but needed two "victims" to get a warrant. Judge signed warrant, evidence found. Judge finds out that second "victim" was fabricated, overturns the warrant on the grounds that the guy's constitutional rights against unreasonable search were violated by the false-pretense warrant and throws out all the evidence they collected. Basically the case is dead, and the guy goes free. Thoughts?

Backstory on pooping while banging chick doggy style? Post I read on another forum years ago... Guy brought a chubby girl home from a bar and they start gettin' it on. Midway through there's this nasty smell and he looks down and realizes she's accidentally crapped (just a little, if it makes a difference) on his couch while they are doing the nasty. She stands up, goes to get a tissue, pics up the turd, drop it in the toilet, then gets back on the sofa and wants to carry on like nothing happened. Of course, he kept going.

No, but a focused brain can dismiss it as unimportant until it can delay no more. Then you have a short time to get to a bathroom. In my son's case I'll suddenly heard him stampede through the house for no apparent reason and slam the bathroom door. "Again!" I think. But once you get to def(ecate) con 5 you'd better be near a bathroom. not, say, in a pool where it will take too long to get to the bathroom...

"Home is where the shart is"
-
Is that how he got his name?
-
No, no I haven't. Although I'm so focused on OR right now imma 'bout to have a major fecal incident in my cubicle.
-
Slowly? Sod that. I'd have tried to make that 30 count in about 5 seconds, like a bratty kid playing hide-and-seek. "You have thirty seconds to turn around or we will shoot you down. Ready? ONETWOTHREEFOURFIVESIXSEVENEIGHTNINETEN *GASP* ELEVENTWELVETHIRT...."

Adults get the same effect to a lesser degree and in life-critical situations it has to be trained out of you (motorcycle accident avoidance = look at the gap, not the car. Or a police office must think to look around for additional threats after a shooting) A common example of target fixation would be when you approach a 4-way stop. When you get up to the stop bar you can see another car that is going to arrive/stop after you, but looks like it's going to run the stop sign to get in front of you. You focus on him so much that you don't register another car approaching from another direction.
-
It's more a case of where his attention is being focused. It's the same thing that will make a kid chase a ball into the freet in front of a car. Yes, they know the road is there and they know there are cars, but they are so focused on the ball that everything else is ignored.

As a parent I can tell you that my son can get so focused on what he's doing that *I* have to remind him to go to the bathroom. He has this distinctive way of standing when he needs to go, and I'll see and ask him if he needs to go; "YEAH!!! (*runs to bathroom*)" He's 7, so I would hope that stops soon - or at least before he goes to college.
