  1. Element: Woman Symbol: Wo Discoverer :Adam Quantitative analysis: Accepted at 36-28-36, though isotopes ranging from 25-10-20 through 60-55-60 have been identified. Occurrence: Found wherever man is, but seldom in the highly reactive, energetic single state. Surplus quantities in all urban areas. Physical properties: Undergoes spontaneous dehydrolysis (weeps) at absolutely nothing and freezes at a moments notice. Totally unpredicatble. Melts when properly treated, very bitter if not well used. Found in many states ranging from virgin metal to common ore. Non-magnetic, but attracted coins and sports cars. In its natural state the specimen varies considerably, but is often changed artificially so well that the change is indiscernable except to the experienced eye. Chemical properties: Has great affinity for Au, Ag, and C (especially in the crystalline form). May give violent reaction if left alone. Will absorb great amounts of food matter. Highly desired reaction is initiated with various reagents such as C(2)-H(5)-OH and sexy aftershave. An essential catalyst is often required (must say that you love her at least 5 times daily). Reaction accelerates out of control when in dark and all reaction conditions are suitable. Extermely difficult to react if in the highly stable pure form. Yields to pressure applied to correct points. The reaction is highly exothermic. Storage: The best results are obtained between the ages of 18 and 25 years. Uses: Highly ornamental. Used as a tonic for low spirits. Used on cold nights as a heating agent (if properly prepared). Tests: Specimen turns rosey tint if discovered in raw natural state. Turns green if placed beside a better specimen. Caution: Most powerful reducing agent known to man (income and ego). Highly explosive in inexperienced hands. Specimen must be used with great care if experiments are to succeed. It is illegal to posess more tha one permanent specimen, although a certain amount of exchange is permitted.
  2. It's not about balls. It's about the fact that she was not the only person involved in the conversation yet she's singled out? There was a point were this thread went from harmless fun to angry attacks, and I'm not sure I understand what precipitated the change in tone.
  3. Too harsh, man. It's all in good fun. If you don't appreciate the fun then fair enough, but personal attacks aren't cool.
  4. Didn't I hear something about holding this space for an announcement, and that we should be poised to strike?
  5. We're just a bunch of sophmoric assholes. They've already given up on us.
  6. I'm just here for the CbrGirl and NinjaChic cat fight.

    That's a dude

I started with utter failure, and worked my way down.
  8. Understood. If that fact is borne out then good for him.
  9. Unreservedly. I'm fortunate the Brits don't believe in Seppuku.
  10. Only thing I can see is if the bad guy was hit in the back and claims we was shot while running away...
  11. http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2013/01/08/columbus-man-fights-back-armed-robber.html Nice to see this being reported in a positive light. All too often the headline would be "Gun freak mows down hungry desperate misunderstood person who was just turning his life around, forces his child to watch his inept slaughter attempt"

    New posts.

I still have the New Posts button and I use Firefox.
  13. Well I know it can't be "Arrogant smarmy self-righteous gun-grabber on a TV news show" because we have Piers Morgan representing the British on that.

  15. Not too mad, 36c/round. Any limit?

You ever seen British women? *shudder* You Yanks know how to make 'em. (If I should die by being beaten up by angry British women, then I bequeath my spaghetti to MT, my linux servers to Casper and my gun collection to Magz.)
  17. What was the price like? Seems like .223/5.56 inventory i goes away as soon as it pops up. It's like playing whack-a-mole with a hundred thousand other people trying to whack the same moles.
  18. A buddy and I were looking to split the cost of the 80% lowers and jig, knowing that we could not transfer any lower that was manufactured by us, so we'd have to do our won work. I have a bunch of basic machine shop gear so I'm fully capable of doing that (drill press, grinder, taps, files, vice and other doodads) We could sell the jig once completed. Thing is that 80% lowers are going for the same price that stripped completed lowers used to go for!
  19. I would sell my AR if someone gave me $5k for it. I paid $590, and put about $300 in tacticool bollocks on it. Now, WOULD someone give me $5k? I sincerely hope not. is that gouging? No, that's my recognition of the fact that I would probably have to pay pretty much that same amount to replace it - even more as we march closer to the day Feinstain vomits on our constitution...
  20. $1800, holy crap. If you want to convert to 22 to avoid the ban then understand that you'd have to use a 15-22 lower, not an 15 converted, as the 15-22 is probably not of Feinstain's shit list, but the 15 is. (Yes I spelled her name wrong, Yes I prefer it that way)
  21. That is the very definition of supply and demand. High demand, low supply = higher prices as the unprepared desperate folks fight it out. Give it time and we'll have lower demand and higher supply and we can waltz in and buy up all the cheap ammo and rifles we want... Another thought... If the AWB passes and NFA registration for grandfathered weapons is included, then it may wind up having been better to await post-ban rifles that will undoubtedly be made to comply with the new law. Post-ban rifles will not be NFA registerable, and it will only take a couple tweaks to make a rifle compliant. Those who paid $2k for an $800 rifle will just wind up paying a $200 stamp for the privilege of being registered by the government, whereas the rest of us who either had cheap pre-ban rifles or wait for post-ban rifles will just have to purchase or convert to postban compliance and be done with it. Example: Someone needs to take an 80% lower, complete is as an AR16 with a modified hold-open latch that forces the bolt to stay open after each shot, requiring manual intervention to load the next round = NOT semi-auto = compliant. Donor parts from your cheap (I paid $590!) pre-ban rifle plus 80% lower modified to post-ban compliance = no registration, and a rifle that is just as effective.
