  1. Damn Pat! That's pretty sick!

That was my business I was taking care of in Connnecticut....lol

Been trying to for some time to match up schedules for his work. Now that I'm no longer in the AF I was able to do it. I had those back-to-back appointments scheduled since last Oct.

I wasn't going to let anything stand in my way of making them...lol

  2. So I just made a trip out to Connecticut and spent some time with Joe Capobianco at Hope Gallery to get some serious work done. I’ve tried to get set up with him for work since 2008.

Well we finally got started. I sat through 6hrs on each leg, 6 on Tues and 6 on Wed then drove back here yesterday. Both go from knee to ankle. My right lower leg will be covered by all stuff relating to road racing.

I’ll be back out there on 28 Feb for another 6hrs of work.

I used to colors of my Shift (Skittles) leathers as the jacket for my umbrella girl. I'll be using colors and pics from my track bike, helmet, gloves etc. for the other stuff. This will cover all my lower leg.

The links are pics of my legs on his site.

  3. I was looking at going, just watching the weather now.

I have been told it's like a full day of open track. You get with a coach to watch you and let you know what needs improvement and you practice at it. You end up with more track time than a normal trackday.

This is just what I've been told by two members that have went to one when I mentioned I was thinking about it. They told me, it is worth the money.

Maybe a NESBA rep will chime in.

  4. SOLD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I have two pairs of these.

This is as my back up pair and they have only been worn about 5 times for street rides. Still have the bag and still have that new leather smell.

They do show minor marks on the knuckles that can only be seen by looking close and holding at an angle in the light. This is from being thrown in my gear bag.

I'm getting rid of them to fund more track time.

    $135 shipped.

  5. he had trouble during the start... maybe stalled it.. or hell maybe it just died.. so he did what your supposed to do.. raise your Left arm to let the people behind you know that you are off the "pace" and he prob woulda been ok if he had not tried to walk it that little bit to where his leg was out more than it might have been standing still and he got clipped.. lost balance and.. WHAMO

Exactly......lesson learned from this......if this happens to ones self....hell....put both arms up and stay perfectly still until the last bike passes..

    Hope he lived.
