  1. Well for the first time in years I actually wish I had a bike just so I can plan it on the first weekend in June to mess with Ben since I was co-creator of the very first one which was the first weekend in June:lol:

Or just newb like the Mexican said. Slippery Oct night. I don’t know that area at all but could been a 35 ramp and slippery and he was doing 45. The statement speed was a factor would be accurate but he may not have been riding like an asshat.

Im not judging because I almost always ride like an asshat, but I’m skilled enough to do so. Either way this wasn’t a lesson he can learn from.

yea I've slid on that ramp in 2 different vehicles. I have no doubt speed was a factor but as mentioned earlier what speed was it?

  3. Yeah, people here like to comment on prices for things they have no clue about (Miller). You'll get close to your asking price so long as both teams keep winning. Maybe even more.

For reference back in 2006 when it was the #1/#2 game I was offered to purchase tickets from a friend on discount and they were $1000/ticket. She ended up getting $1500/ticket when I couldn't go.

  4. Did it come from an LS1 or LT1 car? I've got a buddy that has been considering swapping over to manual. Though I'm sure once he prices out what it would take he'll stick with his auto.

Not sure how it works where you’re at but in my county they let you know ahead of time that you have been chosen to serve. With that notice they mention you can write in to request to be removed from the summons. I have written in 1 time and they sent a response to let me off. I didn’t have a wonderful excuse either it just was horrible timing for that time in my life.

unfortunately does not work that way for the federal courts up here as we found out

I don't mind it. My work has to pay me for it like a vacation day. Gives me something different to do other than my daily grind. But I don't have younglings at home like you do.

I wouldn't mind it as much if they gave you a range of time and let you pick what works best. But the forceful nature and having 0 understanding of peoples lives is what pisses me off

    The need is asap.

I don't think the Crown would work.

The Camry might, any history on the rebuilt title though?

The story she gave me was that it was a rear end accident. The lady I bought it from was sitting at a stop light and a kid texting rammed in to her. Her brother and husband own a body shop and mechanics shop respectively and rebuilt it themselves. She drove it another almost 10k miles before selling it to me because she was pregnant and they wanted a minivan. From what I could tell the story checked out and it drove great so for the deal it was I took the gamble and thankfully it paid off.

  8. What's the timeline on the purchase? If my dad doesn't end up wanting it, I've got my 2009 Camry with 80k miles on it I'm planning to sell for $5k. Fits all of those requirements except it would depend on how you feel about a rebuilt title. I've had it for 3 years and 40k miles. Its been the most low maintenance reliable vehicle I've owned but that's probably no shock since I've primarily owned GM vehicles.

i saw this earlier but I didn’t comment because he said family and kids lol.

Nashville is my second home but I’ve never taken kids and made a family thing. So I can’t be real helpful.

You could do the Grand Ole Opry tour and the Gaylord tour with them. They’d probably enjoy Cooters Garage too.

If you’re staying at the KOA, I’m assuming it’s the Yogi’s one, that’s minutes from all of those places and the Nashville Mall.

The Mall is actually pretty impressive it’s fucking huge. Biggest one I’ve ever been to. There’s a really good seafood restaurant in there that is a giant aquarium as well. And Johnny Rockets is in the mall as well, Reba is part owner and I’ve seen her there waiting tables and greeting everyone several times.

The American Pickers store there at the edge of town is Meh, but the building it’s in is pretty cool.

If you ditch the kids and hit the strip then definitely text me or message me. That’s where I go.

If you have time, 4-5 hours, one day absolutely head to Lynchburg and do the Jack Daniels distillery tour and eat at Barrel House BBQ. It makes Cram Bones seem like McDonalds. The tour, town square and BBQ are totally worth it.

One night we're hitting the strip without the kids so all the suggestions you have I'll take.

I forgot about the American Pickers place so that'd be cool to check out. They'd love the damn mall I'm sure so with all the rain in the forecast may be a good idea. We're going to be with my Dad and his wife and they already did Grand ol Opry and Jack Daniels so probably won't get to do that this time around but she's from Knoxville so it'll happen in the near future with my new step brother.

I'm probably one of the few here that thought Krambonz was overrated and not even top 3 of the bbq places I've had down that way. I realllllly need some good BBQ and some good nashville style chicken to make this trip worth it

  11. Ok I know a few of you are Nashville pros so looking for suggestions of things to do. I’m Mainly interested where the good eats and drink are. We’re meeting some family so we’ll have 3 kids under 2 and staying at the KOA during the day. But at night we’ll have babysitters for the kids so at least get to be out on the town one night if not both.
