it may or may if people know what plastidip is. I don't know what you have for mileage on the 600rr but I'd say its like you could sell it for $3700 quickly and only need $500 to make up the difference on the vfr which is well priced really
-
price yours right and it might not be too late at all
-
you ever seen a happy pirate? yea me either

All that needs organized in this is Meet location, time and route which is already done Secondly, learning from last year GROUPS SHOULD BE LOOSELY PRE PLANNED. This will make day of 100x easier, I assure you that as the person who did it last year day of. This includes having people already park in the right areas as Derek has already set up in that picture That is literally all that needs to be decided

Don't need to worry about future large gatherings. Just need to worry about this one. Don't put the cart before the horse. As an Organizational Leader, the last page or two of this thread is driving me nuts

Negative rep for another "I wave at only blue honda cbr600rr with abs and chrome wheels" threads

^^^this isn't a typical group ride. This is a massive event, group rides are cake

Let me welcome you to group planning. Where the motto is "if you don't do it yourself, it's not getting done" Many many people appreciate you stepping up. And I'm just trying to help best I can to assist with some things to make it easier!
-
I understand your point however that again was a HUGE issue of not having pre planned groups going in to it. As the person who got thrust in I the day of organizing role, it is way easier to have 50 people pre planned into groups and add in the additional people who aren't listed than to deal with a 75 person clusterfuck. I hope you're not taking offense to my tips and suggestions but just trying to help things go smoother than last year. Being the one who ended up in the middle helps me recognize some of the short falls of such a massive gathering.

Jack, Keep me in the maybe attending section but definitely take me out of the possibility of leading or sweeping a slow group. I'm not gonna be 2up like I thought so it'll be a medium group for me. I'd sweep a medium group if Mykill is the lead rider and we hand pick riders we know

A small-ish Nelson Rigg magnetic. Love the thing and got it for $20 a few years ago

Right idea so close enough! Depends on how big the groups end up being but likely each group will only need 1 of the "yellow lanes" and not 2 but thats still easier to deal with than how it was last year
-
I wish I had the ability to draw it on here but that is how we did it last year and did not work out very well. Looking at the pic, take the color bars and go from top to bottom with them instead of left to right. Now if you look close there is a light pole at the mid point of each yellow lane of parking spots and use that as your barrier from one group to the next and use like 2 of those lanes Am I making any sense? lol
-
Being honest I would not do it like that at all because people are going to park to close together and screw it up. I would split the groups in to the "yellow lanes" perpendicular to how you have it and use like 2 or 3 of them

For those about to rock...

I wish it was better timing but I was offered one for 11k in the fall!
