  1. There is a place in AshtabUla that has a dyno and can do some stuff. Once I get in the office I will look it up. I do know they get a lot of mixed reviews though
  2. I'm not a loan officer and thats the biggest load of bull I've heard in awhile. I paid off a 72 month auto loan in 19 months and it jumped my score 20 points
  3. ^^1) a VROD is hardly a harley 2) I'm willing to bet I know of at least one VROD that will outride a majority of sport bikes on this very forum
  4. I don't know honestly. I've only been there for parts twice and another time to look at 2 used bikes I wanted. They were overpriced and weren't willing to negotiate for what I wanted so I just left by first glance of your loan situation I'd say unless you are paying cash and satisfied with the price I wouldn't bother. Then again you'll be hard pressed to see me buy any sort of a vehicle from a dealer
  5. do you use a bank? look at getting a personal line of credit. Its how I bought several cars and bikes while still getting to hold the title that isn't perhaps J&J is it?
  6. ok apparently I missed it but the ls1 swapped s2000 sold and he let it go ridiculously cheap...14k another local one is a supercharged s2000 but he wants 20k for it. Its worth that in all the parts it has but quite frankly I'd never pay that for honda of its age
  7. now on my computer I just looked at the ad. It has a good amount of the right stuff to run 5psi which is basically nothing when it comes to those motors. They take to boost pretty well from what I've seen if you do it right and it seems as though it has enough of the right stuff to not be beat to shit. Greddy turbo's are pretty solid, just depends if they put the right size on for that application. Picking up any modded vehicle you should always assume you're going to have to sort through some bullshit problems but its just a crap shoot if they are big or little. I knew this going in to buying my last camaro which was modded to hell and the motor was strong but it had a lot of little shit to deal with that pissed me off so I dumped it agreed on everything minus the turbo on a non turbo car. The third hand factor I do agree upon but some motors just handle boost well and the s2000 is one of them so I wouldn't worry about that like I'd worry about it on say a Grand Am
  8. Psh if I had a dollar for every time someone put a turbo on and didn't do the proper accompanying mods and a tune I'd be driving a brand new Vette right now Most car modders are cheap. They go big on the F&F parts but then skip out on the things that won't make it go boom. Also, it's pretty simple to do a base tune just good enough to not make it run like shit or blow up. If you're wanting an s2000 I know of 1 that has an extremely clean LS1 swap but I don't know what his price is off hand
  9. bump! got a performance driving award this morning so it'll be nice to get this stuff gone
  10. he stains too? I'm definitely gonna have to get him over the new place for a quote! It has a deck that is in dire need of a staining too and that would save me a shit ton of hassle
  11. hmm interested in the price, I could use a new pair of jeans but not sure if timing is right
  12. subscribed! Might be needing a couple rooms done in the new place if all goes as planned
  13. My dad finally stopped asking me to do such events as I usually figured out the next point and subsequently passed all his Harley buddies in turns. They were getting lissed I've been riding less than 3 years and none of them could out accelerate me with an engine half the size of theirs. No less than 4 of them sent their bikes to get major motor work
  14. You just havent ventured your way to the better stuff To the OP: I used to be the same. I've never done a track day but I've learned a shit ton just from rising and attempting to keep up with IP, bambam, and others as of late. If its one thing I've learned it's just seeing the line through and holding it. My problem is mostly in my head and I'm sure I could be a much better rider if I could do that all the time
  15. self righteous? Umm no I'm just realistic plus I know how gas prices ACTUALLY work. I'm in the oil and gas industry, I might have a small idea Hell no, I don't like paying the current prices for gas. Should not cost me the same to fill my bike as it used to cost me to fill my car a couple years ago. But it is what it is and I learn to deal with it I must have missed the sarcasm in what I was replying as I thought you meant you actually wanted stricter and more numerous regulations. In the last 3 years natural gas production costs have gone up 4-5x what they should be simply due to increased number and strictness of regulations. Luckily due to the amount in well reserves prices have no been affected. They will however be greatly effected in 3-4 years if changes aren't made in the Federal, as well as PA and OH government make up
  16. LULZ...tighter and more numerous regulations are the reason the prices go UP, not down well that is your choice and something you have to live with then
  17. wow finally someone with some sense! +rep to that
  18. the way the public is fed "profit margins" of oil companies and producers makes me laugh because they are grossly overstated
