I had a similar experience with them when they offered me exactly half of what my car blue booked for a couple months ago when I was going to trade it in on a Vette. They were of no help, I knew more about cars than they did and on top of it the sales guy was a rather huge douche

Im 24 and thats how I was brought up. My parents didnt let me blame someone else for my stupidity and I paid the consequences, then learned and tried not to make the same mistake again. What happened to personal responsiblity? If the company doesn't want to hire her, thats is their choice. Maybe they need some one with a lot of book smarts more than street smarts. Sometimes a degree doesnt mean shit, but that is up to the employer. Grow up people.

completely agree. I spent 5 years in school and probably ran into more idiots there than I have in a few jobs I have worked with people who had no degree or a 2 year degree. To me school doesn't mean shit about their potential, it is all about the person's knowledge and attitude anymore

She is an absolute idiot for suing the college because no school will ever guarantee a job. She is probably a moron and can't interview, not to mention its hard as hell to get a job right now with experience let alone no experience. I hate my generation because they all think they are entitled to things and don't have to work for it.

I myself have only been out for a year and graduated with a 2.9 (GD 2 years of engineering killed me) and have been able to get 2 jobs since graduating. I'm not a moron by any stretch I just get bored easily and lazy and hate studying lol. College was a good thing for me as it got most of my irresponsibility out of the way but I learned way more from the experiences of internships and jobs in my field as opposed to classes. But sometimes its all in that one very expensive piece of paper that employers want
