  6. FOX News is only one point of view. Don't let that be your only source... shop around. My personal favorite counter weight is www.democracynow.org To bad its not on our local PBS station
  7. Well ... FOX News ... It can't get more right wing than that. Health Care should be treated as Human Right! http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docid=6646340600856118396&hl=en&fs=true
  8. In Germany it is very common to wear a so called "Nierengurt" in English "Kidney-belt". As some of you know the Kidney is located by your lower back just under the skin. And the purpose of the Nierengurt is to protect the kidney from sub cooling (causes kidney infection) and also support your guts from bouncing/ shifting around if you hit these nasty put holes in the road and vertical accelerations. What strikes me that there is not much discussion about these belt's. I found THIS article that describes it more in detail.
  9. CE Approved? Link doesn't mention.
  10. Well Guys, What is all the hype about... This reform is so overdue, just like the tax and SS reform. In my opinion the Heath care is most important. Why, because people Die! Answer me one question . Which western country besides us does Not have some sort of national program? Personally, out off all these programs I'd like to see the Single-Payer System (wiki). Free like the Fire and Police Dept! Then even Afghanistan*, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iraq*, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Ukraine and the United Kingdom will envy us. *Universal health coverage provided by United States war funding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKI9be55N00 & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E07ZHWxT834

  13. Abut time if you ask me. I want a public option. But I'm biased... I from Germany. We had always both. The greed will always be there.
  14. I'm a n00b to 'big' bikes and was shopping for full coverage. Geico, state farm, progressive and nationwide. Nationwide beat them all. $80/month just under 1K a year.

  16. I grew up in Germany. When I was around 13 my friend and I wanted to cross the Autobahn by foot. As we walked up the railing the cars zoomed by, it was incredible. We could feel the wind produced by the cars. I almost s**t in my pants. We turned around and took the long way!
  17. Thanks Guys for the advice!! I'll use their 250. I signed up for the course but their schedule is full, the next free class is not till September some time. Don't know about the open door policy... don't want to waist my time So in mean time I'll continue to roam my dads lawn till my protection gear gets delivered, then I'm off to the parking lot with the MSF Guide. I'm very very excited !!!!
  18. Hello All, I was following this forum for a while. I just got me my first "real" bike and like to learn as much as possible. I'm about to sign up for the MSF course. Yeah I know the kawa zzr600 isn't the perfect beginner bike. I will be easy on the throttle! I don't have a death wish I hope I can talk them into letting me use my own bike for the MSF course (500cc limit). What do you guys think?
