You will want to get to get a street title and plate your bike. It is a fairly simple process to do and you can get an enduro kit with brake and turn signals and all switches and wire it up in an hour or two. This company has been very well spoken about for their kits.

I joined the marion county fish and game assoc for $25 a year. It is less then 5 miles from home. I am sure most rural counties have something similiar?

I always worried about 2nd and 3rd gear. I had a habit of tearing them up. lol I had a bike that would jump out of second and find a false neutral if a I gave it more then half throttle.
