Like Simplysix said, it depends what percentage of savings that $20 is. If it's a $50 vs $30 part, online all the way, but if it's $520 vs $500, I'd say shop local. No matter what, give the local guy a chance to meet, or at least get close on, the price.

It's all good, I was just hoping to avoid moving it to the storage unit.

Lots of parts for sale. Buyer to pay actual shipping, all prices OBO. First Gen: IXIL Dual exhaust with pre-cut header: Dirty, stainless and aluminum could use a polish, but they're all there. $275 Carburetors: I think from an '02. Dusty, bought as spares, I've never used them. $100 Naked triple tree: Clear coat removed from top, a few scratches, and the riser bolt holes have been slightly oversized to allow different risers. Should work fine with standard risers, but I cannot confirm. $40 Rear wheel: straight but dirty, has cush drive rubbers. No sprocket carrier or rotor. $100 Front seat: might be slightly sun-faded, no tears or cracks. $50 Second Gen: Front end parts I believe it was from an '06. I bought it used from a guy that converted to a GSX-R fork. S Model Triple Tree: Comes with clip-ons $150 Fork Legs: Straight, rust discoloration is common from the steel lower triple, easily removed (or hidden behind triple). $300 for the pair Front wheel: Straight, but a couple of dings and signs of amateur tire changing. bearings feel good. $75 Front rotors: Straight some surface rust, should clean up fine. Selling these cheap, no guarantees. $75 for the pair Front brake calipers: Decent pads left $50 for the pair Speed sensor with rotor magnet: uncut wire, plug and play. $75 Front Axle $25 Clutch Lever with perch $20 OEM sprockets: still have some life left $15

Of the three, yours is the hardest to sell. Not too much easier to sell an FZ6 but a SV at the right price doesn't last too long. They've got a much bigger cult following.

less than 2 hours to quittin time, here's my plans for tonight: My beverage choices for this weekend are going to be two limited release beers. First up will be "Lagunitas Sucks" which is a stand-in of sorts for Lagunitas who's in the process of expanding their brewery and wasn't able to brew their Brown Sugga' christmas ale. The 'Sucks' is apparently easier and/or faster to brew and is more of an IPA than your normal xmas ale. Next up will be Founders' Backwoods Bastard, a bourbon-barrel aged version of their Dirty Bastard Scotch ale. Can't wait until beer o'clock!! And if that doesn't cut it, well there's always the Woodford Reserve

Elevator has their stuff in almost every store down here, even Krogers. Should be pretty easy to find.

Thread merge!

Don't know if you can get it up there, but Elevator's Winter Warmer kicks Christmas Ale's ass this year. And it's got more alky.
