  1. Yeah he put a full yoshi system on but I installed a pcIII USB along with my gytr filter. I was going to put the smog block off plats in at the same time but I'm still searching for a better price than the graves ones.
  2. Sorry copied it directly from the R6 forum where everyone's sig is huge. I'll size in down in a minute.
  3. I have to search for it, will I even get it?
  4. But once the wheels are spinning I have all that extra rotating mass to keep me going further
  5. I'm still getting used to it, I've been taking it pretty easy. I ride my GS harder than I ride my R6. Even when I am more comfortable on it I'll still be reasonable with it.
  6. I'd agree you traded up! (No offense GSXR guys, just my opinion). Nice R1! I wouldn't mind having one myself...
  7. Yamaha Roadstar Warrior 1700- Awesome bike for a cruiser. If I ever had to get on a cruiser, this would probably be the bike. I rode one at work a few weeks back and I have to admit it was comfortable. It would definitely be a midnight/raven edition. no way I'd clean that much chrome. The only complaint I have is the ridiculously huge stock pipe. Ducati 748- Would I buy it? No, Would I ride it? You better believe it. I don't see myself ever owning an exotic bike. I wouldn't be able to justify the price, unless I planned to race is/ride it every day (not something I'd do in Ohio) Harley Nightster- Wouldn't even touch it. Harley's are overpriced and I don't want the stereotype that comes with the name, even though I wouldn't live up to the stereotype. I'm just not a Harley guy. 06+ R6- I own one and I love it. I bleed Blue.
  8. I got my R6 maybe 2 months ago and haven't stopped tweaking it since then. It had some nice mods on it when I got it, but it's never enough so here's what I've been up to: When I got it, it looked like this: Nothing too special, just a full Yoshi TRC exhaust, Carbon fiber front fender, hotbodies flush mounts, Puig light smoke double bubble and a fender eliminator. Unfortunately, the guy I bought it from rode double up all the time on about 20 PSI in both tires, so they both needed to be replaced even though they were practically new Metzeler M3's. I started looking into tires and some other mods I want to do. I ordered a few things and I've finally got everything I currently have installed. I added a motodynamic integrated/sequential function tail, 6K DDM HID kit/LED thrid eye, GYTR tank protector (which covers up the stupid white graphic on the tank pretty well), frame sliders with a real CF sleeve/blue endcaps/gold bolts, replaced the stock lower fairing decals with gold ones and added some blue wheel stripes. I ended up getting a full set of the regular Pilot Powers for tires and had those put on as well. I got a killer deal on them too, got both tires for $168 shipped from jakewilson and $30 to have them mounted/balanced, so I can live with a good set of tires for ~$200. Here's me finishing off the old tires. I did this right in front of my driveway, since I live in the middle of nowhere. The road was also closed at the time because it was so hot that the wires were sagging so low on the telephone poles and a semi truck caught them and took them out, so the electric and cable companies were hanging new wires. (blurry, my girlfriend had my camera and it was on manual focus) The aftermath: Anyhow, I plan to do a lot more with the bike in the next few months. I just bought a GYTR air filter but I'm holding off to install it until I get a PC (couldn't pass up the deal I got on the filter though). Obviously I'm getting a PCIII, but I'd also like to get more gold accents, probably pazzo/asv levers in gold, gold rearsets, and possibly a gold chain. I'm also getting a rear seat cowl, real carbon fiber tank sides and rear hugger, and who knows what else. I'm loving this bike though and it's hard to not keep ordering stuff for it. I work at a big motorcycle dealership so I'm always seeing things on other bikes and saying to myself, "Hey that looks nice...Hey parts guys, I'm going to place another order"! Anyhow, I'll be posting more as I do more stuff to the bike and I look forward to hearing some input and getting ideas on where I want to go next with the bike from you guys. -Kyle
  9. thanks everyone. I put about 150 miles on it in the last 18 hours and it's not nearly as uncomfortable as I thought it would be.
  10. haha yeah I'm going to come up with something. I'll have to come by and get the bike dynoed sometime.
  11. I've felt that way since day 1 The GS was a great first streetbike though, I don't regret getting it at all. I feel much more comfortable moving on to a bike like my r6 now.
  12. haha yeah there was some money involved in this conversion...
  13. I used magic pixie dust, you can get it on ebay for 24.99 with free shipping.
  14. Dang you guys caught the changes pretty quickly. I turned up the outdoor climate control and melted the snow and revealed the wall But yeah I'm pretty pumped about this bike. It's a 2006 R6 obviously. it's got the flushies, fender elim, puig windshield, full yoshi trs system and a carbon fiber front fender. t's really different than the GS but I'm really glad I picked it up.
  15. Hey guys I made a few changes to my bike, let me know what you think! Before: After:
  16. I have a 04 GS500F that may be for sale within the week. Shoot me a message if you're interested. I work at Harding's Park Cycle in Canton so that's not far from Akron at all.
  17. I obviously didn't make it out but it seems like you guys had a decent time. Hopefully I can make it out to the next ride..
  18. I live on campus in Canton but visit my parents and girlfriend back at home in Southington almost every weekend. My girlfriend and I are looking to get a place in the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls area later this summer though. I'm out in Niles a lot as well. I'll see if I can make it out guys, sounds like a good time.
  19. You guys opposed to me possibly jumping in last minute? I've got a pretty crazy weekend coming up (good friend of mine died in a car accident yesterday, unsure of calling hours/funeral times) but if I can make it it would be nice to get out, ride and enjoy myself. I'd like to meet some local fellow riders because honestly I'm sick of riding by myself That is if I can keep up with any of you - the GS doesn't pull too hard...
  20. my bad I got excited, I've been looking for a cheap CF can for months now. Some people have selective hearing, I have selective reading
  21. I hear you can't play the new maps in TDM or HCTD? I won't get them unless you can...
  22. PM sent with number for the guy who did my tint.
