I'm running Hyperpro's in the forks and also with the Penske rear. Working out pretty good. A spring upgrade is a good first step in upgrade in suspension. - Might as well add that I've gone way over and above that with Traxxion Dynamics valving on the front too.

ok here is the deal i am buying a truck in indiana today, i am taking my mother in laws plates and going to pick it up . what the hell do i have to do to get this think legal anyone know . do i have to goto bmv in indiana and do title work and then have it transfered when i get here or do i just risk it and drive back on these plates and let ohio take car of it . never bought a out of state vehicle before anyone know what the protocol is ?
I bought my bike in Indiana. So I risked it and took an ohio plate to get it home. - You have to take the title to a notory at a dealer to apply for an ohio title--- I dont remember exactly but the dealer notory knew what to do. Just ask. Then go to the title place and transfer over, and get plates.
It went smooth no problem.

Yeah no joke man. It's bad. And I don't think Dayton is going to be getting that 50 degree riding weather this time by the first week of march. I'm going nuts!
Ditto to that dude!

Welcome to the world of sport touring!
I would look at a Honda VFR 800. I have seen those modified nicely into sport tourers. Check out http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php? for more info about VFRs.
IMO 600 - 700 cc bikes don't make the best sport touring bikes. Doesn't mean it can't be done, but a larger cc bike may treat you better on a longer trip.
Ditto on the VFR800 - would be a better bike for the long haul but still have the chops for the twistys. Better bike, less bucks. Any 4th gen - '94 - '97, 5th gen - '98 - '01, or 6th gen - '02 to '09, would be a fine ride for what you want. Of course I'm a bit biased ..(mines a '98, much modded.)

I dont think so, they do when you get set up but dont think they replace it.
Anyone else have AT&T / SBC Yahoo and know for sure?
The motorola modem supplied by ATT is a cheap piece of crap and is good for about a year. When it starts to go you get iffy connection to the net.
ATT replaced mine free. The hassle is that you have to go thru the entire service phone numbers starting with the number in India and enventually someone will get you to the local service guy who will come out and check your modem and verify its junk.
Good luck dude,

My ex girlfriend talked in her sleep. At first it weirded me a bit, but I learned to play with it. No matter how random what she said was, I'd top it in answer. Worked into the dream/conversation several times.
My new one just grunts. Not as fun....
My ex did simular - mostly would act out her dreams. Her most re occuring one was she would be swimming in the pool. I would look over and she would be sleeping soundly and flapping her legs and arms. I'd wake her up and then she would be back asleep in a hour and swimming again. Ugh!
Another tendency is she would have dreams of being attacked or shot. I would be dead to the world, totally out, and suddenly she would sit up and start screaming at the top of her lungs but still sleeping. It would scare the shit outta me.
We eventually broke up and she went and married another guy. One things for damn sure, that guy is not getting any sleep!

Anyone made the change from sport bike to a cruiser?
The 'Busa and 636 are sitting right next to each other as I walk by them each day. I wonder about swapping out the 'Busa for a cruiser ...
I have had both a "sporty" bike and a cruiser for a lot of years. Its a great combination. Sometimes I just feel like laying back mello and just ez cruise 40 mph on the local backroads and sometimes the adrenaline junky screams out and I gotta go thrash some twistys. The few times I only had one or the other bike, I missed not having both.
BTW - I would never join the "potato, potato" gang.

+3 to Speigler Lines. Have them on the 1krr and installing on the 600rr. Easy to turn the banjo, made in Dayton, Ohio and cheap if you know the right place. Got my SS Race versions for $85 Front, $45 rear.
I used Spiegler on my project RC51 brake job conversion on the Viffer. They are waaaay nice, and since they were in town and ez to get to the shop, it was a no brainer. --- You sure got a deal, mine was in the 150 buck range, front only.

Fricken awesome stuff.

Wish they would fit me, but I think they are too small. Something weird, I dont remember where I heard it, but your glove size is supposed to be the same as your shoe size. So being the curious foole, I went to the Held site to see how they measure glove size. I did a little paper strip around my hand like Held showed and measured it.
-My shoe size? - 9 -- The paper strip length? 9 inches exactly. --> Fricken weird.

how many people play texas holdem, Maybe get a sunday game together.
But online how can you pay for it, I thought no cc companies would not let u..
I have an account on fulltilt with real bucks, but only have done the freerolls on pokerstars. For some reason, I dont like stars that much, the graphics and quicker pace just bug me. (btw - on fulltilt you can deposit bucks with a visa card.)
I play some live in a few home games in Dayton and if I can get loose, I'm gonna hit the Hollywood over in Indiana.
-- Mostly I'm just a hacker at it working to get better. I took up poker to have something to do in winter, Now I would say riding and poker are equal priorities for me. (Although I'm a waaaay better rider than a poker player.)

should have bought a VFRFor Now..
anyhow sold the old 929rr and bought a harley(okay let the beatings begin, I am sure I will get a few!!)
2004 Soft tail springer ... hoping this summer to get another sport bike for getting out and playing on, but damn the 700+ mile weekends were wearing on my damn back!!
Dude - I bought a Honda Valkyrie in '99 thinking that it would be the bomb for long distance riding. Since the riding position is bolt upright and all the weight is on your ass, I found that on long trips the beating on my lower back were pretty nasty. Well damn, thats not gonna work. I gave up on using it for trips and just keep it for local cruising which it excells at.
I have had VFRs for a dozen years and have found that they are actually great and reasonably comfortable for long distance multiday rides and still handle the twisty stuff, Maybe not as well as a 929, but a good rider can give a gixxer fits.
Good luck dude,

It looks like actual common sense prevailed and just focuses on street racing. The part of "excessive demonstration" has been struct out so if your solo, the bill doesnt effect you. The nitrous part is only in there now as to if you use it in the act of street racing, your still in deep do.
All the noise to the senate actually worked - how 'bout that?

I have a Toshiba "netbook" with the intel atom chip - it has windows XP. I managed to lock it up. It boots up and the get to a point where the pointer and hour glass are just permanantly lock. Ctl +Alt + delete does nothing. I have to hard power off the thing to kill it. -- I have Norton 360 on it.
-Maybe I picked up a virus or something? I'm in Dayton, who/where would you suggest a fix? Boxing it up and shipping to Toshiba - CA is out.
Thanks in advance,
MD

Just a reply to follow status on the bill - hear is the reply from Columbus ---
I received your e-mail expressing your support for House Bill 191, which would increase the penalties for street racing. I appreciate you taking the time to contact me on this issue.
House Bill 191 has been assigned to the Senate Judiciary Criminal Justice Committee where it will undergo further debate. Please know I value your suggestions and look forward to working with my colleagues should this legislation come before me in the Ohio Senate.
Again, thank you for your e-mail. I encourage you to contact me should you have additional concerns on this or any other issue facing Ohio .
Sincerely,
Jon A. Husted
