I have not fired my new Rem 870 shotgun. If I go to the range, I figure after about 15 to 20 rounds, I'd probably have a sore shoulder. The money spent on range time will be well worth it for the experience.

I have not set up at a motorcycle swap meet, but have at car swap meets. I have made the most money on the first day, as I am unloading my items. Other sellers tend to buy from other sellers before the show is open to the public.

I have both a cruiser and sportbike. It is nice to have the option of what to ride. Usually I'll ride the sportbike to work when it is just me riding. The cruiser is good for more relaxed rides. Insurance prices might be an issue, depending on your age and driving record.

I have not been to a gun show, but i picture it like the sportscard shows. There is a big rush right when it opens and the tables would be about 5 people deep for most of the show. Other then having different inventory to look at, are the deals really worth it to fight the crowds?

A month after I got my first bike, I broke my hand,(not motorcycle related ) and could not ride for 6 weeks, so i feel your pain.

Since both of those bikes are in your price range, would you prefer a cruiser style bike or sportbike? The sportbike is less expensive and would leave room in your budget for any small items like a battery or tires.

SInce this was a daytime work trip, I did not drink at Rusty Bucket and was selected by the "locals" I was working with. Decent food, too busy with work related conversation to notice anything else about the place, except for the very small parking lot. I did manage to stop a Vance Outdoors on Cleveland St while I was still on lunch break. That place was super busy!! and awesome prices. I should have bought the Crossman 760 BB gun for $39 to relive my childhood, but would have been hard to explain to the boss after lunch.

I was on the OSU campus today near the EWI building. Had Lunch at the rusty bucket and dinner at City BBQ,with Cheerwine........sweet....
