<<The gossip web site TMZ is reporting that actress Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32.

The website says that according to multiple sources, Murphy went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived. TMZ is also reporting that the Los Angeles City Fire Department has confirmed a 911 call was made at 8 a.m. Sunday morning from the home of Simon Monjack, her husband.

Sources tell the web site that her mom discovered her unconscious in the shower and when paramedics arrived, determined the actress was in full cardiac arrest and administered CPR.

The EMTs continued CPR en route to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

She is perhaps best-known for her 1995 breakout role in "Clueless." She went on to star in a string of hits that included "Little Black Book," "Sin City," "8 Mile" and "Just Married," which she co-starred with former boyfriend Ashton Kutcher>>

I am looking for opinions on car batteries. A little back ground first, I have two vehicles, a 2003 Monte Carlo and a 2002 Durango. I bought the Monte Carlo used in 2003. The Durango was purchased in 2004. The Monte Carlo has a Duralast battery ( not an Ac Delco like I would have expected) that was already in it when i bought. Not sure why the Monte battery was replaced BEFORE it got the car. The Durango has a Mopar battery in it, I assume original.

Neither vehicle has any sign of starting or charging problems. I am thinking of replacing the batteries in both vehicles before winter, just to be on the safe side and based on age. It seems that car batteries can just fail at any time, due to temp or vibration. Probably true for new and old batteries.

In the past, I have always purchased Ac Delco batteries. Delphi makes the batteries for the Delco brand. Johnson Controls makes the optima and duralast brand.

So, opinions on which to get, Delco or Duralast? Either brand battery costs around $90.

Not sure about posting this, but, they are airing ( from 12 to 1:45 AM) a show regarding 9/11. This show is video from regular people/ tourists that were in the NY World Trade Center area on that day.

Watching clips from that day, I am still angery, sadden, and other emotions.

10 years ago, I was a happy camper plowing with my 1984 Chevy shortbed Custom Deluxe with a Myers plow. I did the driveways of family and friends, plus 2 small business lots. The money was ok, but after 3 years of plowing with an already used plow truck, the repairs got pricey. U-joints, plow parts and brake lines. Plus, nobody else is willing to help you replace front hubs during 3 AM snow storm when they break.

I would love something like that just not what I was looking to spend. Bonus wasn't that big LOL!

I am thankful for my job, but with my reduced hours, i agree that this years bonus was not THAT big. IF i could have last years bonus this year, I would be rocking a dirt bike and land to ride it.

Good price for a spare laptop or if you have that model and is out of warranty, it would good for parts, if needed. Or keep the broken laptop and just hard drives into this one

I paid $800 for my 1982 GL 850 L 15 years ago. Due to the seller getting a divorce, I got the sweet deal on my bike. This is the bike I rode on the covered bridge tour.

Thanks for the heads up. Knowing that I need my license for this job and to enjoy motorcycles, I will only have one drink while i am out IF i know i will be at one place for awhile, or i can walk from the hotel to dinner. Usually, I'll get a 6 pack and bring it back to the room, if i wll be in the room for a few days.

He seems like a good guy, and will be a great,needed addition to our crew. Now that i sold my sport bike, I only have my 1982 GS 850. We will have to try to get a few Lincoln rides plan this summer. Our boss also rides, his one bike is a Warrior.
