  1. I am back home. It rained a little closer to home, so I am a bit wet and cold. The coffe from this morning was warm, so that will help warm me up. Great ride and great pizza at Cover Bridge pizza. It was 225 miles for me and I meet great friends today, thanks guys........

  2. It is a little brisk out there but it is dry in Bedford. I'll be at Ohio Motorcycle at 9AM. The wife will follow in car since it is too chilly for her. We are bring a thermos of coffee and cups for any one that will need to warm up during any of the stops. So as of now it is only me on bike, wife in car......

  3. Still a morning decision for me about the ride. I just back in town from a 2 day work related trip from LA. ( Not lower Akron) If I go, I will meet at Ohio Motorcycle ( isn't officaly called Cleveland-Akron Honda? ). I would suggest parking the bikes closer to the side street, away from the building, so I won't confuse your bikes with bikes that are already at the dealership that are for sale or in for repair. I will be on my 1982 GS 850 Suzuki. The only issues I will have is about 70-75 MPH top speed, at least consistanly, and 100 mile or so range on gas.

  4. MY wife Kelli said she will hang back in the car and get some shots as we ride by. I have been on group rides in the past. I would suggest we all ride staggered since most of us have not rode together, plus on unfamiliar roads, it give the riders in the right side of the lane room to avoid leaves and potholes. I know when i ride with the sport bike guys, we have one set of hand signals, well, more like foot/leg signals on the sportbikes, and with the "cruiser" bikes we have different signals. So a group rider meeting is a great idea.

  5. As of now, 40% chance of rain from weather.com, but it seems to change by the hour...My wife might follow in a car and she will have her Nikon D200 camera...

LOST, maybe we can meet up around 9:30? Does that give us enought time to make it the Sheetz on rte 20 and rte 11 just after 10?

I will ride the 1982 GS 850. I'll save the Katana for another ride.

  6. If I ride 2 up for the bridge tour, my 850 only gets about 100 miles per tankful. Does the planned route factor in access to gas stations? If I ride single, then my 1990 Katana gets about 120 miles per tankful.......so no real savings there. I think I will take the 1982 GS 850 regardless......I am located in Bedford, near Cleveland Akron Honda, as a point of reference
