  1. Here are some items I have for sale:

Lincoln Electric Power Arc 4000 welder/generator, $600 . Only has about 20 hours of run time on it. It is an older model but completely functional. I took this the campground to power a camper. You will make friends fast with the 8HP Briggs and Stratton engine. Slightly noisy for camp ground use, but good for emergency power. Has 2 110volt 20 amp outlets, and 1 230v 18 amp outlet. Includes the welding leads and a stylish welding helmet:

Next item is the factory exhuast from my 1990 Suzuki Katana: $45 or trade for a few boxes of 9mm Luger or 7.62 x 54R ammo ( or a used Hi-point pistol, just kidding)

  2. Looks like a fun day. A&A range is very "rustic". I usually bring a few plastic bags from the grocery store and pick up all the brass I can on the ground. Last time I recycled the brass, I had about half a plastic bag of brass. It is yellow brass, and the scrap value was $1.85 a pound. I think I got about $23, enough to buy a box of 22LR.

When I went shooting for the first time, it was very helpful to have experienced shooters showing you the ropes.

  3. Since I had the wife, we stayed at a Hampton Inn ( not the one by Hanley road) this on was next to an Applebee's and just down the road from a Wal-mart, about 8 miles from the track. We go have breakfast around 7 AM in the lobby. There is only 2 other people there. Ten minutes later, Jash Hayes and Melessia Paris come down for breakfast. I made some small talk with them and let them be on there way. So that was kinda neat part of the weekend.

On Sunday, we walked over the infeild side of thunder valley and got some great pics. I did see that earlier pic from thunder valley and I was sitting next to the picnic table for some of the race.

Our camping group is on the other side of Honda bridge by the esses. I had access to a golf cart all weekend. That helped to be mobile during the races to watch from different parts of the track.

On Saturday night, our gang went to the tent camp ground about 7 PM. The rest of the group was dressed as "pimps", as they do every year.
