I noticed in Northfield there is a blue, newer style, Grand Prix running around with the movie logo and decal that says " transformers" down the side. I dont get it. But hey, their money and their ride.
-
That almost looks like my garage where i park my classic, rustorical 1982 GS 850, except it is not 2 floors, and the only thing that rolls up is the garage door
-
There is a couple good tunes from Black Eyed Peas. An early song called "Where is the Love"
-
Lost, thanks for finding the original thread on parks and waterfall ride.
Happy because i remember how great the ride was, but sad, in a way, seeing Timothus.
-
Lost could probably get the new tag without even starting his bike. That is at the begining, or end, (depending on which way you are going) of a great road that is in north east Ohio

I will be going out west soon and thought I would check out Craigslist for some cars. While looking for a 1972 Cutlass, I found this ad:

I dont know if I should laugh
or cry
. I am sure it took serious time and money to make this work, but why? Kids today......

ok, since it is a "sport" wagon, i'll call it the Milf wagon
-
Speedy, you are rockin' the mommy wagon....

I am interested in the boots, but from Alpine's website, they would be a bit small for me, I wear size 12, would need to be Alpine Euro sz 47

Wow, guess i missed this thread the first time around. But I cant comment on anything since I only have an 850......
I am confused by that V shaped engine, I thought all engines were like, um, inline and had 4 sill-land-ers......so that must be the only V-twin...

The end of April is the end of this week...dang, I better get a few boxes of Twinkie's, the food of choice for zombie hunters.......
-
Wow seeing that makes it kinda real. Not like video games.
-
Welcome, my guess is Lost1888 if he pulled away in the twisties
-
I will be out of town this weekend
-
"stick to what you are good at............drinking!!" super nice

It is like a Lincoln party out here tonight.......
I work with TRMN8TR and he is a good stand up guy, other being a Prius drivin', ginger kid Steelers fan,
-
I was going to stay that you are ok for a Ginger Kid, but that would have been too easy. I might end up with a Prius, but I would change the logo to read PRIMUS ( the band) just to man-it-up a bit.......
-
He is ok for a Steelers fan.

If your Saturday afternoon include the words from the TV " Mutual of Omaha presents..." you were a kid in the 70's. This was a TV show linda like National Geographic channel.
Remember the Mr. Quaterback football launcher? Pretty much a heavy spring loaded catapult that would launch a football.

Not exactly the same, but I had a 1990 Katana 600 for about 4 years. It was carbed, and heavy ( compared to the newer bikes). I enjoyed riding it.
It is kinda cool that these 20 year old plus bike still run and look great.
Kinda like a motorcycle time capsule.
2009 was a rough year money wise for me or else I would still own it.
Sold to another member on OR in early 2010. Actually it was one of the pics that appeared on the OR home page when i signed on after dinner today.

i am sure other people that actually race can add more detail, but an air shifter will allow you to shift gears with out using your foot. There is a air cylinder connected to the shifter lever.
Another way with the quick shifter, just shift the gears with your foot. There is a sensor that detects you are shifting a does something to control engine power to allow a wide open throttle shift

Not trying to start anything, but could there other factors like PCV valve system and overall engine and engine bay designs that may create a difference in "less internal buildup"? A better comparison would be same type of vehicle and same engine. One with conventional oil and one with synthetic?
Now back to the female zombie link from the other thread......
-
great, there goes an hour of my life, about to click on the link

The bike is still in "as crashed" condition.
