  1. Took my brand new Remington 887 pump shotgun to the range today. I loaded 3 shells into the mag tube and racked the slide. I fired the round, racked the slide rearward to eject the spent round, but could not get the slide to move forward to pick up the next round. I was able to remove the 2 shells from the mag tube my pushing down on a lever at the end of the mag well and the shells came out on the chamber side. The shells did not fit going out the end of the mag tube that is away from the chamber due to the dimples in that end of the mag tube.

I have tried pressing in on the slide release lever, but can not get the slide to relase and move forward.

I have not had positive out of the box experiences with Remington. My brand new Rem 870 started having extraction issues after 10 rounds.

    Dang it !!

  2. I know it is the big mega giant football game day, but the game does not matter to me. I would like to go to the range Sunday afternoon. If the weather is decent, as in like 30 degress and not snowing, i would like to go to A and A outdoor range. If the weather is less then ideal, I will go to Stonewall in Brecksville. Any interest for Sunday range trip? I'll see how the weather is Sunday morning and decide which place to go to.

  3. Not 100% positive on what you would need to do if you bought the car back. I think you would have the car and a "salvage" title from the insurance company. Then the car would need to be fixed to some level ( might not be enough to just replace tail light) Then an inspection by highway patrol ( info on ohio department of motor vehicles website)to verify that the the parts used in repair were not stolen. If all goes well, your car will now be labeled "rebuilt" and be able to have plates.
