  1. I was on this route yesterday. A couple holdups with paving going on but no detours or closings on either route.
  2. Hmmm, how did I know that this would end up on the forum?? Sometimes you just get a feel for things I guess. My side: I made a offer, but don't think I'm crazy enough to buy a bike without riding it, or anyone else on the forum I bet. You wanted me to give you till Weds. (this is last Sat. when I talked to you) to see if the other guy could come up with the money, I hesitated but bikes are a dime a dozen, and said Weds. is cool. Your meeting with Skullcrusher didn't go well by the sound of the message you left on my phone and you now want to do something on Monday. I basically don't want to go through all the hassle of trying to make it to the bank when I'm working, arranging a ride, doing the notary blah blah blah. At the end of the conversation I tell you Weds. (my day off) looks like it's might be the best day, I could tell by your silence you didn't like that even though you asked me to wait till Weds. just a few hrs before. Sunday night I start getting text that you want to do the deal Mon. and I need to let you know my schedule. Rule no.1, don't be demanding of buyers, you weren't doing me any favors. Like I said it's a bike and you were offered a good price, have some patience give people some space. Not that it makes any difference but I'm the one who sold your wife's bike for you, I made the phone calls, and then you want to dog me on the forum. Like I said I had a feeling it would end up on the forum (some peoples entire life can be found on here...sad). Whatever it's a nice bike from what I saw of it, I really am glad you sold it, it just wasn't worth the hassle I saw coming down the road for me. Too many irons means to busy on my part to have texts coming in trying to hurry me. That's my side, let the drama begin. Just wondering, I know you said you don't let anyone ride your bike, but say I rode it before I gave you any money and I didn't like it, would that be good for 14 pages.

    Steak Ride

Weather guy said 0% for tomorrow. If all works out I'll see everyone in Danville at the gas station. Sounds like a good time.
  4. Take it to Josh Parker at Mid Ohio Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha in Mt.Vernon if your anywhere close. It's great to be able to fix stuff yourself and learn the bike, but then there's a time to let a good Tech do the job and learn from him what the problem was. For me, especially when it comes to electrical problems.
  5. I have this Sat. off and the 10 day forecast says it's going to be a decent day with highs of 59 and lows of 45 so it shouldn't take that long to warm up to a decent temp. It would be a quick put together for a ride but that's the way it has to be this time of year. An idea, maybe head down to the Zanesville area by way of Henpeck and Rain Rock to 79 on over to 60 and go in the back way. 60 has just been paved down that way and has some good scenery also. Headed that way a couple weeks ago to try and find the exotic animal farm that's got so much attention but ran out of time. This ride would have to be for us slooow rollers, too good to rush through. I'll send this to you as a email also since you have limited internet at times. Let me know.
  6. You can send him the footage at 97 W. Jackson St. Millersburg, OH 44654 For some reason he's not able to sign on and wanted me to respond to your post. Thanks
  7. Oh ok, didn't understand you had a partial ride already set up. If Jane goes (barring no rain) I will take the Voyager this time. Want to get another tank of Sea Breeze run through it before winter.
  8. Martinsburg 11am?? Not sure what that means. Off the top of my head..waterfall in Millwood, down to Tiger Run Rd., to Danville (in case for gas). Mohican to Gorge, Covered Bridge, the other scenic outlook, down to Perrysville, back to Loudonville, McD's is fine with me. On the way to Mohican, go past the Elk ranch, they might be out in the pasture to where we can see them. After eating in Loudonville, head to Nashville and then to Danville the back way for ice cream at the BP. Look at the time and go from there??
  9. Must be reading my mine about this Sunday..they say it's suppose to be nice. Anyway I went to Mohican today, found a awesome lookout point that I've never seen before, even better than the Gorge lookout. Need more time on this one for pictures and telling war stories though (getting to know others), just my opinion. Maybe no agenda, just checking out the sites as time would have it??? Then there's that Hen Peck Rd. that leads to .........
  10. Yeah saw the dog in the trailer but I think you missed the Yorkie in the basket on the Goldwing handlebars in Danville. I tried to get your attention but I think you were talking with Dave at the time.
  11. Adrian, How many miles did you have total for your ride coming from Marysville? You might get the most miles traveled award, but you'll have to share with your wife.
  12. Good ride Greg. I think the trees are about peak, couldn't ask for a better day as far as the weather goes. Good mix of roads, good food at Hotrods and best of all everybody arrived safe at the end of the day.
  13. Looking forward to the ride. That's cool that it was on the radio station, was it 93.7? Never thought about putting a ride on the radio but it makes sense, the more the merrier. So how many deer did you see on your way home the other night, I was sitting on the bench in Danville when you were on your way into work, tried to flag you down but you were a man with a purpose. Ha Think I'll take the TMax, a little more airflow than the other and more fun in the twisties. Jane's flying to Mass. today for the week so I'm definitely up for breakfast if you and Sue are doing that in Mt.V before the ride. Give me a call if you ride today after 3pm. Mike
  14. The T-Max will be out of commission for awhile, hit a deer while out riding last week. No damage to me except a bruised foot, but the bike didn't fare as well. Didn't go down (thankfully), but the 55 mph contact did a job on the plastics. I still have the MP3 so it's not like I'm out of a ride till it's done, but the Piaggio isn't a T-Max by any stretch of the imagination.
