  1. I was in bed after working the night before...my girlfriend was on her way to work and called me on the phone after the first plane hit and said turn on the news I think something bad is happening. I turned it on shortly before the 2nd plane hit and was glued to the tv the rest of the day. In all of the sadness and tragedy that happened that day, a beautiful thing happened as well...I have never seen so many American flags being flown and so many people being so nice to each other as I did that day and shortly thereafter.
  2. I'm finishing out my bachelor's with Franklin. I have heard that Phoenix credits don't transfer very well, which is one of the reasons I chose Franklin online because I am planning on getting my MHA from OU. I didn't have time for "traditional" college right now with work and family responsibilities so I pretty much had to go with an all online college. Accreditation is everything with schools when you plan to go for graduate level programs so whatever you do make sure it is accredited.
  3. That sucks you had to do that, but like kawi said..I give you props for standing up to your "friend" because that was total BS. Same situation happened to me between high school and college...worked my way up to management level of a local pizza shop only to get shafted by the district manager. I really enjoyed the job (minus the owners and DM) and our shop was very profitable, but the upper management was awful. They treated their employees horribly, which didn't go over so well with me because I hired mostly people that I was friends with outside of work that I knew I could trust the store with when I wasn't there. So I up and left, soon after about 75% of the employees of that store put in their two weeks. Sucks for now, but things will get better man, have faith and hang in there!
  4. Welcome from another Drew in Marysville...lol.
  5. Me too, even my favorite color...wish I had the cash. Bump for a sweet bike.
  6. Just out of curiosity...how does he make a living??
  7. lol shittygsxr the dream crusher.... I would probably take the internship.
  8. WOW that dude must be ballin'. He has 3 of my dream vehicles sitting in his driveway, a GT-R, S1000RR, and SVT Ford Raptor. Me = very jealous lol.
  9. You are definitely in the right place. Welcome.
  10. Uh oh...get ready for the and comments. J/k but either way, you should fit in just fine here. lmao.
  11. Tough choice, but I would try to keep both bikes if possible. The M109R's are tough looking bikes, hope you find the perfect one!!
  12. Great track by one of my favorite bands. RIP Mark, never had the chance to meet you in person but you seemed like the kind of motorcyclist (and person) we should all aspire to be.
  13. There are a lot of worse things you could have dumped that money on. Seiously though that is a nice ride, I used to be into custom cars before I got into bikes so I know the amount of time and $$$ that goes into something like that.
  14. Nice looking Cougar....that's the first time I have said that when talking about a car.
  15. Very freakin' cool. Can't wait until the Avengers movie comes out.
  16. I'm a big dude at 6 foot and 280 and would definitely ride a Hayabusa...just not one of those stretched, lowered, fat tire sporting, ghettofied ones. They are very comfy for big guys like posted. Given the choice I would probably rather have a ZX14 though just because they look better IMO. Also, I don't have any problem at all finding gear that fits so size is no excuse for those dbags not wearing proper riding gear.
  17. I sold my 2004 Ninja 250 a while back for $1,800 with roughly 8k miles and it was in good condition with newer tires.
  18. Looks about right...minus the green beans. That's a funny ass write up. I like to use about 3/4 of a jug (64oz...I think) Spicy Hot V8 as the base of my chili followed by 1 can Bush's chili beans, 1 can Red Beans, 1 can black beans, 1 can diced tomatoes, i can tomato sauce, 1/2 can corn, 1/2 Onion, 1 or 2 diced Jalapeno's, 1 pack McCormicks Chili seasoning, 2 lbs lean ground beef, some Garlic Powder & Pepper. I usually cook the ground beef with the peppers and onions which IMO gives it all a better flavor.
